Frankly, I don't know that much about PPC.

But it seems to me it's a really time-consuming method, because you have to monitor your campaigns all the time to make sure it's still effective and not losing money. Then you have to adjust it and do split-testing and things like that.

For me, one of the good things about internet marketing is the spare time you get. So is PPC really that hard and time-consuming to do? Or are there ways that you can kinda leave it and let it run auto when you get to a certain point?

No, I don't think so. PPC is the fastest, easiest, but probably the most expensive way to drive targeted traffic to your site. It may only be "hard work" if you're running a lot of campaigns. But for the most part I think it's "smart work" at its finest that is if you got the right blend of keywords and persuasive ads.

Actually after having gotten google top ten rankings for about a dozen keywords then having to monitor THAT and make sure seo doesnt change or my rankings dont go away. I am just starting to get into ppc and i think ppc is MUCH easier. Traffic is faster and you know RIGHT away if its gonna make money.

SEO can sometimes take a long time.

You pay either way, in time or money.
