Site structure advice, plse - Wordpress addon domain blog

Hi noble Warriors!

Can I ask for your advice on a Wordpress issue that would probably be something simple to many of you, but I'm still learning about these technicalities.

I have a site of a couple of years' old, that at the time I was advised to put the affiliate review blog on an addon domain, to be able to put the sales page, or whatever, on the main url later on.

But the niche of the blog never got me excited. The blog looks nice with quality articles but nothing on the main url. Now I want to flip the site.

Should I transfer the files of the addon domain to the main domain? (I don't know how to do this), or I thought I could put a review on the main url? However, do I instal Wordpress again on the main url, or just put a one page review in html on the main url?

Hope you understand what I'm asking!

Thanks!
Di

P.S. Just noticed my creative username! My WF account and username were changed today by WF - dunno why - formerly known as 'homejobcreator' and have had an acc here for some time. Cheers!

There are several tutorials on the web, explaining how to move a blog to a new domain. Some of them are for techs, and some are for us un-tech people. Just do a search until you find one that makes sense to you.

I think most people would prefer to put a blog on the primary domain, because it doesn't have the .html tag. Both your primary domain and your addon domain have their own cpanel. Just go to the cpanel of your primary domain and install a new blog using Fantastico. Then you will be able to put your review on your primary domain.
