Anyone knows how to automatically remove email addresses when a person buys using getresponse?

hello fellow warriors,

I am about to launch my ebook tomorrow Tuesday November 18, 2008.

I am currently working on the thank you page. However I want to add a capture form so that people who buys have to enter their email addresses
to get the product.

This way I can remove them from the promotion campaign so they wont be getting promotions for something they already bought.

How can this be done automatically?

I am using Getresponse.

Any help will be very appreciated.

Thanks In Advance

You'll need to use a "move-on-sale" automation rule. First, go to Track my Sales on the main control panel, and setup sales tracking for your campaign. Then go to Campaign->Automation and setup the "move-on-sale" rule for the campaign.

Here's the text from the GR site:

    How do automation rules work?
The "Move-on-sale" automation rule transfers your subscriber to another campaign after a sale is made."Remove-on-sale" removes a subscriber from your list once they purchase your product.

To activate it, you need to generate an HTML sales tracking code (the "Sales tracking" section on the GetResponse home page) and paste it on your site.

When generating a sales tracking code, you need to specify which action (registration or sale) will be recorded in GetResponse. If sales automation rules are defined, this action shall trigger a movement of a subscriber to another campaign or shall remove one from your list.

The code includes a tracking pixel to measure sales conversion. For that reason it should only be added to a page which your subscriber sees if they have definitely performed the action. A good example would be your "thank-you" page after an online purchase is complete.

In order to have sales tracking working, you need to have the click tracking feature or open rate feature enabled (both are recommended). They can be found in the Campaign Settings area.

Once a subscriber receives a message with click-tracked links or with the open rate feature, a cookie is saved on their computer. When they click on a link in your message, they are taken to the site where the purchase can be made. Once the purchase is made, they are taken to your "thank you page" on which you have included the tracking code.

This code then sends the hidden message to your specific campaign from which the customer will be removed/ moved over.

Hope this gets you in the right direction.

And best of luck with the launch!

    Bill
