hey guys,

i'm in this weird niche...i just made an ebook because it was something
i was able to overcome...

ok...i'll say it...it's the how to quit marijuana niche...haha

i know...but long story short...i quit weed...and i made a course (ebook & audio)
on it...

but now...i have NO IDEA on any backend products...the niche is not that
bad considering it gets good traffic on youtube and so forth BUT i just don't know
what else to sell them u know...

if they quit, i can't sell another product on how to quit...im thinking of maybe
making a how to quit cigarettes...how to quit alcohol...something like that...any ideas?

...any ideas for backend products?

BJ

Well, if most people switch to some other vice (eating?) after quitting, maybe some weight loss affiliate products would do the trick...

(Only half joking here...)How about one of those brain power programs, to help all those slacker brain cells back into action ;-)

What about a support forum and coaching program (maybe paid?) to help those struggling with quitting...

    Random thoughts for you.

    DUUUUUUUUUDE,

There's lots of stuff you could sell those stoners.

First of all, most of them will NOT quit from reading your ebook. I don't care how good it is. They won't understand. They won't listen. Or they just won't do it. Some of them won't even crack the thing open even in the non-stoner niches.

That means there's room for more ebooks about setting goals, motivation (simpleology has an awesome affiliate program) and all kinds of self help stuff that helps them break out of this cycle of non-action.

You can also offer a high end coaching program where you stick with them on the phone every day for the first month when they are quitting.

    Even if they do quit.

They are now missing something really big from their life and they need to replace it.

Survey them. They likely suffer from depression and you can sell stuff on that.

Sell stuff on addiction in general because they will probably go and get addicted to something else if they don't change their ways.

I'm just throwing stuff out there and it's late but I think I might have said at least one thing that made sense.

      Frontend = initial product

Backend = other products sold after initial purchase, may be more expensive, may be less expensive

    Hi BJ

    Well done on quitting!

When people quit that's just the first stage. The next stage is to stay off it. As Mike says, They need a replacement so you could write about what you do to stop yourself from getting back on it.

You may have already looked at the reasons why people smoke in the first place, quite often it's peer pressure but there could be underlying problems of low self esteem etc.

So, maybe 'How to feel good about you now you've stopped', or 'How to make new friends that don't 'smoke'.

'101 Tips on what to spend their money on now they've quit'.

Have a look in Amazon to see if there's many books on addiction, is it in the genes or not, self esteem, or confidence building etc.

How to quit cigarettes would be popular especially with smoking bans in places at the moment and the top 2 things to concentrate on in the New Year (in my opinion, not through any research I've done) are usually diets and giving up smoking.

    Get writing!

Darn, you beat me to it... I would totally focus on targeting the quitting smoking cigarettes niche as well...

p.s. - Write a book on the problems with giving up and the benefits of giving up.
