Making Money Writing Articles

Need some advice -I purchased the ebook Article writing Uncut. Read it twice and ready to get started. How realistic is it to write 100 articles a day. Any advice on how to go about this including tips, tricks and tools are greatly appreciated.

100? A little math will tell you it's impossible. That's over 6 articles an hour, 16 hours per day (assuming you sleep). How realistic do YOU think that is?

Would you personally be writing all 100 articles? If that's your plan, I'll go (not so far) out on a limb and say it's just not possible. Even if you wrote five an hour, which experienced writers may be able to pull of, you'd be working non-stop for 20 hours.

Impossible to write 100 articles per day, you'd get burnout so quickly.

Better off trying to find clients who charge decent rates so instead of writing 100 articles per day at $0.01 per word, you can write 10 articles per day at $0.10 per day.

    Believe me, it's possible.

Yes, you could write 100 articles a day presuming each article is around 50 words long. Easy!

Here's a good idea for article writing:

Find a topic that a lot of website owners are looking for unique content on and then go ahead and write X number of articles on that topic. If you stay on one topic you can write faster because it is fresh on your mind, as opposed to looking for work and then starting. That way you can sell the unique articles later, and continue writing without stopping to look for more work.

100 articles a day is very unrealistic, though.

For you personally to write 100 articles per day is not realistic if you look at it realistically

If you was to outsource you would be looking at mega $$$ and a number of writers working for you.

100 articles per day is alot and you would also need to allow time for keyword research and bookmarking etc.

Start off small and see how many you can knock out, once you start making $$$ you can then look to start outsourcing your work and upscale your business.

Depends on word count. I usually don't go over 300 and i don't see any problem writing 10 articles per hour. Last time i was able to write 200 articles in 3 days. That's about 70 per day.

Trick i use, is to write small sales letter. I don't sell there, i just "push their buttons". To get them to click on my link and read my blog. I also get quite nice CTR, around 30-40%.

Just 1 example for you: lets say your keyword is "how to make money online". From there, i have already 6-7 articles ready. Blogging, article marketing, affiliate marketing, outsourcing. Break your article body down with sub headlines. Make them bold. It's much easier to read then.

Also, make sure you have your last phrase bold. Ask a question "So are you ready to build your online business". Your article author bio will be just after this phrase. If this phrase is in bold, it will be like a sub-headline for your author bio. It will increase your CTR a lot.

Also don't say in your author bio, that "John is expert in ... and helps you with... So if you are interested, you can visit...". Nobody cares who is John or what he does. If your site is offering a free gift, lets say you want to build your list...say "Get this awesome guide on how to... TOTALLY FREE." Make them click.

    Hope this helps.

PS! If you get stuck on ideas, just close everything...go out for a walk. Come back...and don't even look your previous articles. Usually i get more ideas this way.

Even if you could do that, you couldn't sustain it. Think about this: If it takes you 2 minutes to proofread and correct each article plus 3 minutes to submit it, you are already at 8 hours plus - and we haven't even taken into account the time to actually write the article

I am assuming that they are for article directories.

Not enough hours in the day, I'm afraid.

100 articles per day? Gosh, why would you think about such a huuuge number? you can make a decent living out of writing 10 articles per day if they're paid properly. I'm not referiing to dozens of dollars per articles, that's difficult to find. Yet, opportunities are everywhere, you don't need any experience to do that, nor tools. I don't think that article writers should use any tools or softwares to do their job. When searching for an employer, you get to check samples from the competition; if you think for yourself:" No problem, I can write such an article", then perfect, you're good to go. What you need to be a decent article writer is to have a good knowledge of the English language, an analytic eye and the ability of researching and putting together ideas so that they blend in and form an interesting and comprehensible text. That's about it.

It would be exceptionally difficult to write 100 quality articles in a day. I just can't see it happening. Did the book make this recommendation to you?

One thing you can do is write for sites that pay per click or impression. If you keyword correctly and write on popular topics, you can make a tidy income monthly as they pay over and over. I enjoy a nice residual income from articles I wrote months ago.

Another option is to write for sites and clients that pay for articles. With clients you can negotiate a rate. Different sites pay differently but one popular one pays $15.00. So if you wrote 2 articles in an hour you could earn $30 per hour.

There are a lot of opinions on this subject, and you are likely to get a wide array of advice.

I would suggest starting off by doing some searches on the forum, because there have been many threads on this subject where a lot of information has been given out.

For a quick answer, the first step is for you to decide how much you are worth and stick to it. Then, you can post a link in your signature and open a thread here in the warrior for hire section of the forum.

There are other options as well, but that will help you get the ball rolling.

Writing for others...there's so many article writers out there. Even here in WF. Most of them have very good reputation. Also i don't think you can manage bulk orders from 5-6 customers at the same time and deliver everything fast. Also nobody will buy single article. Better use these articles and promote your own site. Do affiliate marketing, promote Clickbank products for example.

You can even use same articles with document sharing sites. Just upload your .doc file. That's even more traffic for you.

I would recommend starting out small and always have spare articles on hand as mentioned above. Go with a goal of two articles an hour for a solid eight hours. That will help you judge what you're capable of. Remember quality is much more important than quantity. I can produce 60 articles a day that is filled with grammatical and spelling errors. I can also produce 40 articles a day that is of a much higher quality that would be worth more due to the level of content. Just keep that in mind when you're attempting to sell your services.

That's the same thing as saying "I made $0 so far - can I make $10,000 next week?"

I write for a living and I can't write 100 articles a day - of any length. At some point they would stop making any sense at all. Usually the point of writing articles is so people will read them and click on your link or buy your product or whatever. To get attention, the writing needs to make sense. To get attention from search engines the writing needs to be keyword optimized.

Focus on learning to write 5 articles a day until you have your own system down and then increase to 10 day (most days) if you can.

Stop trying to race and learn to create quality as well as quantity.

hahaha just do the math and it will sound as crazy as it is.

We will say you are talking about short, crappy, 300-word articles.

So, let's give the bennifit of the doubt and say you can type 70 wpm. That means that you would only need to type non-stop, at a consistant speed, for just over 7.14 hours straight to complete 100x 300-word articles.

Now figure proofreading time. We will say that you proofread at a decent speed, so we will say 200 wpm. That would be another 2.5 hours, assuming that you do not pause for even one second in between articles.

Therefore, if you are very productive, and worked non-stop like a machine, you could theorteically complete 100x 300-word articles in just under 10 hours per day.

All of this assumes that you would never have to take a moment to gather your thoughs, change focus from one article to another, or research.

The whole idea is just silly.

It's just impossible to write 100 articles per day. If you want to make money writing, concentrate on writing quality, not quanity.

There's more than one way to make money writing articles. You can be paid per piece, meaning you'll be paid just once for that article. You can also go for the revenue share or page views... a lot less in payment each time, but it's residual, meaning you'll be paid for the same article over and over again. You can actually make more using the last method usually.

Trying to put out 100 articles per day, however, is just not possible. Even if you knew the topic for each article each day and never had to research anything, I don't see how anyone could do that.

And just imagine the quality of the writing that would be the outcome of trying to do that... from a person pounding away at the keyboard trying to throw out 100 articles per day. That's 700 articles a week, or 3000 articles a month (or 3100 if there are 31 days in the month).

And most of all, what kind of life would one have if they could put out 100 articles per day? There'd be no time for self, let alone family, spouse, kids, etc.

Quality writing ... it pays and you don't have to do yourself in trying to make it.

Good article writing is a work of art. In order to do a good article, you need to take time and research well. After that, you need to be creative and interesting. The language needs to be smooth and conversational in style. Most articles are between 300 to 700 words. As a professional writer, I know that there are days that the creativity just doesn't come... you have to wait for the right moment.. for that inspiration. Doing 100 good articles in a day is completely impossible!

        Exactly so.

We're clearly not talking here about anything that I'd recognise as an "article" in any meaningful sense of the word.

A collection of spun nonsense fit for backlinks only, perhaps, but that's not an "article", and it isn't worth anything, either.

Completely unrealistic. 20 to 30 is a realistic expectation for a single day; 10 to 20 on a sustained basis. And that's if all you do is write articles. If you're hard-working and good at it, you could write 100 articles a week.

The cited blog post about 101 articles in a day is not about articles at all. The author calls them articles, but if you go read them, they're all basically 150-200 word copypasta with a few words changed. And yes, you CAN take the same four or five basic templates and change a few words in them 100 times in a day... but that's not really writing.

100 articles a day is unrealistic, considering the time you have to create one. As your first article writing, that would be hard since you have to think of a good article that would surely captivate your readers attention, do proofreading after each article is done, do editing or paraphrasing and submitting to article directories.

given benefit of the doubt that 100 articles are written in a day, it would surely be very tiring and time consuming

100 articles a day? Bearing in mind that most article sites require between 300-500 words per article as a minimum, it doesn't take much maths to work out that works out at 30,000 to 50,000 words per day and that is one hell of a lot of writing!

I'm going to go out on a limb here, and make a prediction...

Somewhere in the post-purchase sales funnel is some sort of article spinner or scraper that will make that 100 articles per day "as easy as pushing a button" - for a price.

With exceptional preparation, you might put out 100 short articles in a day as a stunt, but sustaining that pace is unimaginable.

You could probably spin an article enough so that you had 100 lousy articles, but you'd still be able to use some of those for backlinks. If you are trying to build a list or presell, you might want to slow down, take your time and develop your article. There will invariably be a quantity vs. quality issue and you must decide what is more important.

That wouldn't be what I would expect from a top-notch article writer. At 167 words per minute typing speed, I can't imagine that you gave much thought to the content of those articles every single hour. That would be taking 2.4 minutes per 400 word article.

eredas, 100 articles per day is more than possible. If you are not naturally a "writer" then at the beginning you will need to put in more effort and it may take longer. However, setting limitations or listening to others tell you that you can't do something is not doing anything for you or your business.

I've done it easy and I know its more than possible. I have faith that you can do it too but even if you can't you should be happy if you are giving it your all. As long as you really give 100% every single day you WILL become very successful.

2 years back, as a challenge, I wrote 100 articles in 1 month (or a bit less), working part-time at it. That was hard work.

Those articles are STILL being used for various purposes - and bringing in cash. One example is some I've posted in the Warrior Articles section lately. Yes, they are 2 years old - but look at them and tell me they aren't useful today!

The key to writing articles is finding the best ways to MAXIMIZE your efforts - and then creating quality content that remains valuable for a long time to come.

It's the same old 'quantity vs quality' debate we see everywhere.

    All success
