I Currently have 511 friends......

On Facebook that i love to bits.....

Anyway my question is this! I see a lot of people with 3 or 4 accounts with 4000 or more friends! how do I go about getting that number myself for my profile, group and fan pages

Of course I could add 30 or 40 ppl a day with a generic message (I have try'd this but not a spammy message only one that say's I'm not here to sell "Stuff") But Facebook regards this as a little spammy!

Guys I am all about providing help and massive value for people and I give away a lot of freebies, but my gripe in this business is building a networks of friends!

Have you any tips that you could share!
Thanks in advance and have a Powerful Day

~ P ~

P.S. A little off topic, I have 5 invites left for the new Rockmelt (Facebook or social) Browser if anyone wants one! just hit me up on facebook and i will provide

Why are we putting "stuff" in quotes? I picture you doing the air quote thing with your fingers saying "I don't want to sell you... 'stuff' ". But just because I can picture it doesn't mean I know what the heck you are talking about.

When you say friends, are they actually friends or people you have never met in your life?

Is this your personal account or business or both?

I would highly recommend separating the 2.

So this makes it ok? And ok to discuss? And ok to encourage others to do it - possibly putting their accounts at risk?

Jill l am not condoning it just saying it happens, l bet there are loads of things members here are/have done stuff which is not strictly by the rules.

When l first started to learn about on line l heard the about the 3 hats

                White Hat
                Grey Hat
                Black Hat

This puzzled me until l found out its the "shade of ethics" that take place. And business/enities have been doing this since we first crawled out of the caves of Africa plains.

I'm new to Facebook and have only 1 "personal" account where I am mixing it with business but what if you have a family of four in your household and each member has their own Facebook account using one computer?

That mean there is 4 accounts on 1 IP?

Yeah, Its against their TOS... But almost FB user's are using this...

And don't forget in some countries that they were using FaceBook on an internet cafe's... Let say that they have 100 internet users a day... then only 90 users use facebook, so it means 90 Users for 1 IP.

Actually, I called. The TOS says "You will not create more than one personal profile." The operative word being 'Personal'.

I thinks its for his business alone..

But you can still separate your friends who you meet by adding a list in them....

For me I am starting to sort them via the application they were playing and send them the gifts they wanted...

And message them that the gift they requested was sent with the link to the site I am promoting.

I think its better that you use several messages according to those profiles, age and like these parameters. Of course you can't attract all people with the same sentence.

so I wanted to be different in mt Friend request Greeting saying that i am not promoting some stuff is all!

just want to be a little different

Now I see your point. Those people added you as their friend, and you are not adding them... Well, that's great...

In any time, you can use those volume of friends for your future IM Business.

But I also suggest to sort them on a list...

I currently have 4711 friends up to date. But without proper marketing, it's hard to make consistent income even with that many friends.

I have a slow but completely passive means of getting friends. Join Super Friends and also find all of the biggest groups that have mass invites for facebook games and get your email on the lists. You end up with a mixture of IMers and facebook game enthusiasts which can both be marketed to. I usually get about 2-8 requests a day. It's slow, but all I do is log-on and accept some requests real quick. I have over 1,100 friends now. I'm probably going to make a few more accounts to do this with too.

Btw, as for it being black-hat, I personally don't see anything unethical about it - it's the same as building up an email list. Just because it is against facebook's TOS doesn't mean it's unethical, it just means it's against their TOS. Obviously my accounts could be deleted at any time, but this is why I don't really put any work into it

And I sort them on the list of which Application they were on... and If I have time I am giving them gifts with a link back to my site.

You can join fan pages that interests you and add the people who are active in those pages. But if you want a less effort way of adding friends, getting fans (likers) then maybe you can try fiverr. I have seen some folks offer services for getting friends and fans in facebook there.
