Facebook Fan Page invites?

I don't ever send out friend invites, but that is becuase I don't have a Facebook account. Lucky Me...

Haha Thanks guys... I guess not many here are regularly using facebook fan pages integrated with their marketing methods...

It just seems like the last 2 weeks the invite function on FB is broken. I have confirmed from at least a dozen friends that invites sent have never been received.

Part of the problem is that FB do not send a notification if you send an invite.

Which is pretty bad......however I don't know if the invite feature has been weird lately.

Will invite later on and see what the response rate is.

i have been getting this problem, and it is very very frustrating.

I don't recall having received any invites for a while now... Of course it's possible I may have turned them off, I don't remember for sure.

Have anyone tried the Fiverr gigs where people post your invitations to their walls and friends network?
I got some good activity to my fanpage when i tried it! and $5 is not much money to spend to get more people to your list.

The cheapest way to get facebook invites is Fiverr.

But if you are really serious about facebook, you would get FFAP, Facewizard, Faceblaster or one of the Facebook Mass Add clients.

You were right, fanpage invites acceptance rates are way down.

In a way, yes. But of course, you also have to consider that many of them are not actually the people they need for their target market.

In terms of services, yes. Fiverrr is the cheapest way to get fans and it's great as long as they're right for the target market.

The best way to do this is to send messages to small groups of friends at a time. So send an actual private message to say 15-20 friends each day. To break your list up into these smaller chunks you can use the friends list feature and create lists with only 15-20 friends in them.

The reason you want to do this is:

a) Your friends will actually see the message. Most people will always check a private message if they get one - if not to just delete it and clear the notification. But if they know you, most will actually want to read the message as well.

b) By inviting small chunks of friends at a time, and because a lot of your friends will know each other as well, it means your fan page will stay in the news feed of a lot of your friends for a longer period of time. So they will be more likely to see it and join.

If you pump an invite out to all your friends at once, it might stay in the news feed for a day or so. If you prolong this and have new friends joining over a longer period of time, it will keep putting the story back into the new feed as more and more people join.

I have made fan pages before and have been able to suggest friends to the fan page but this time around i am unable to find the button anywhere, help would be greatly appreciated.

Here's what you should do:

Find email address: Spend one day to find some hundreds of email address, I don't think its tough.

Invite your friends: it will take a few days to make hundreds of friends, write about your page in your message area when inviting.

When you have at least 600 friends, share your page everyday on your wall. It will work for sure.

I think thats because most of people ignore the invites..

This problem is frustrating me.

One easy way to create fans is to create a Viral script with REAL unique and interesting message that people will spread... we have used a script that has brought us several hundreds new fans...

Not only the facebook fan page giving problem they are lot of problem given by facebook because they keep on changing there system every single month and that is not good to do..

They need to keep new version and older version so people will slowly understand to newer version...

So guys be careful with facebook in marketing..

Yes, now we have to update our fan page, otherwise we will be forced to update it in March. I already updated mine.

I sent invitations but nobody paid attention to them. I rarely accept those invitations myself… So, I was not surprised. Other people I was not expecting to, liked my page… while it was practically empty. Now it looks much better but there is no audience. Perhaps in the future. I never did anything about this page until now.

Outside of FFAB I have tried to send a friend request and it si interesting that Face Book now say that you must know the person to send a freind request ... what is that all about. FB suggested that I may know this person/s so I want to send a friend request and in one case it says that if you fon't know them your request may be blocked temporarily. Will try to paste in a screen snap not sure if it will work here. It doesn't work

I just think that now it is harder for people to access the pages they are invited to. It seems hidden in FB's layout now!

Hi Keith, where u able to solve the problem? I recently created a FB page for my bizz but the invites can't be seen by my friends. I've tested by opening different accounts and the notification on the side bar should appear but it doesn't. I even send a message to FB and ask if its a bug but has not heard anything from them. yeah, Friends can't receive the request now. It ever appeared in "recommended Page" label at the top right-hand of profile page. But now recommended Page is displayed the page which facebook suggested. It is get hard to get fans now.

i haven't noticed it, i'll try it later
