Do You Have Publisher's Insurance For Your Information Products?

Hi, Everyone!

I'm a long time Warrior Forum lurker and internet marketer just now becoming a member. I'm so happy to finally get on here! Thanks to everyone for all of the continuing great advice! I'm looking forward to contributing my own hopefully-helpful advice to the forum. I have a question to start off.

The other day someone asked me whether I had an insurance policy (liability, errors and omissions, accidental plagiarism) for my information products. (We were talking about Harry Potter and how JK Rowling was sued for plagiarism by another children's book author.)

I write all of my information products, so plagiarism isn't a concern for me unless it is accidental, but I started to consider the need for liability and errors and omissions (publisher's) insurance.

I do have a good disclaimer at the beginning of all of my books, but I don't currently carry any kind of insurance. I have a number of info products, including ClickBank downloads and Amazon books all in the make money and teaching niches, so I thought it might be smart to look into it.

I knew the best place to begin looking into it would be with all of you info experts here!

I wondered if any of you other experienced info warriors have liability/publisher's insurance, if you think insurance is necessary, and if you have a recommendation for a policy/company.

Thanks!
AtlantaWarrior
