Putting Your Best Face Forward Even At The Worst of Times

Hello Warriors,

I'm writing this thread because at this time of year we seem to get a lot of posts for people needing money desperately.

If anyone understands how desperate one can feel when you have no money and your back is against the wall, I do. I've been through a lot of ups and downs in my life. Mostly ups...thankfully.

Here's what my experience has been for the most part: if you don't show your desperation, and if you just expect a good outcome from your efforts, then you will naturally attract the money you need to you. It really is that simple.

It's almost like you have to pretend it doesn't matter whether you make money, even though it does. I'm not sure if everyone will understand this concept but it is part of the law of attraction. The part of letting go.

Something to consider: when you're down and out, how many people are really there for you? You can probably only count them on one hand, if you're lucky.

That's because people naturally are attracted to confident people, and usually when you're down on your luck, you feel less than confident.

But that's when you have to pretend you are. Tell yourself everything will be alright, and believe it will be. Then take action, because even a baby step is rewarded by the universe. Truly.

Money is energy. It flows in and out of our lives. Accept that and relax about it. Put your best face forward, no matter what and never ever post "desperately" in a public forum because that automatically puts you at a huge disadvantage and under a lot of scrutiny.

Not everyone is kind. Remember that.

Now go out and make some money today. You can do it!

Thanks Karen, this is very good advice. Sometimes it's hard to stay positive when you don't know how to pay for your children's Christmas presents or next month's rent, but I believe in the law of attraction and that something will show up and everything will be alright in the end.

What you wrote somehow reminded me of Will Smith's The Pursuit of Happyness, a movie I love.

      that was a great movie!

yes, I know it's hard, especially this time of year. It's so easy to succumb to feelings of despair and worthlessness, especially when you have children that you want to spoil at Christmas. Just remember, though, that sometimes, even the most humble of gifts, your love, the things you do for them, maybe even a batch of warm cookies, will remain with them forever, more than the things you bought them.
