You can either review them and put each product on it's own page or post. Add the picture of the product and also have text links throughout your review saying something like click here to get free shipping on Amazon etc.

Make sure you then link to that product on Amazon with your aff link attached.

You can also just add one of the Amazon widgets which is very easy to use. Set it up on Amazon and get the html code and paste it in your site where you want it.

I would go the review route personally.

    Cheers

I like the omakase widget. It looks at the content on your page and displays relevant products. On some sites that widget converts better than text or REST links.

That's weird. I ran the Omikase widget for tens of thousands of pageviews and didn't make a nickel.

      Horses for courses, I guess.

I've always done much better putting up my own content and including text links.

It's actually not a plugin. You get the code from your associates account, then you can just paste it into a text widget in wordpress.

Just wanted to add that this worked best for me on mini sites that just target one type of product. I had an review/article about the product with a text link to Amazon. I also had the widget in the sidebar.

The widget brought in most of the clicks and sales but of course it is just one part of the big picture.

I have WPZonBuilder that pulls content from Amazon but in my opinion you have to add some original content to that if you want it to convert. Still love the plugin though because it has lots of great features.

Sales wise, how is wpZonBuilder working for you?

I tried just pulling in posts without altering anything and I don't think that made any sales at all from amazon. But I integrated it with phpBay and receive clicks to eBay through those sites.

I have been making sales with the similar products widget in wpZonBuilder the same way I used the omakase links from amazon before I bought the plugin.

I'm definitely not one of the rich Amazon affiliates here. I make less than $100 per month on Amazon but I've made my investment back from that plugin so I don't regret buying it.

Yes, I hear you, over a year period and selling just one product, usually around 25 to 300, I made a whopping 200-300 for the year. I think I worked for peanuts building that site. Of course, I did not promote it much, with rankings I did have fell since not promoting.

How is wp-robot working for you? Is it a content description scrape for an e-commerce site of your choosing, such as Amazon.com

I know that adding Amazon products to your website is pretty easy, depending on the placement and such. I just find that Amazon products do not have a cookie period. Maybe they just have a session period, meaning if the customer does not buy when they first hit you site, Amazon will not pay you if customer buys the next day.

I have 5 plus sites using the Consumer Wealth System and have reached the top 3 listing within seconds (could be minutes) of buying the domain. But, CWS formula is to have expensive items people are searching for with high commission, somewhere in the 20 to 30 dollar range. So, at 10% you know the price, and Amazon.com is 6% and so forth.

The CWS did not say use Amazon.com, I just figured I will see if it worked some what, and yes. I did rank on the domain nearly instantly. But do not use AMA (article marketing automation) at 47 month. Just write one article and send it to Ezinearticles, the to around 5 article directories. That is just about it. I did not use AMA to rank, but you do need so activity to keep the rankings. -thats my suggestion.

Now since I was not getting very good result at CWS. I decided to add the 3 websites together in the main menu- given the presence of a bigger website. Take a look loomisflyrods dot org, if you find a good affiliate program for me to join, please let me know. Thanks.

I personally use Amazon Product in a Post free plugin. It works fairly nice. You can find it at work in the site in my signature. You just need to give the product ASIN to the plugin and it pulls it for you with the price, discount and more.

Would also be interested in seeing some sales stats from using some of these Amazon plugins.

        Cheers

I would say it is not worth the bother, maybe it would be worth the effort if you had a longer cookie period. Other wise, go for the net 30 days. not net 30 seconds- end of session.

            Doesn't Amazon have a 24hr cookie period?

I think they used to, I would have to look and check to make positive. Maybe your market are more likely to buy if the products are cheap enough, not being on the 100 dollar scale. Or maybe you are wanting to place amazon.com affiliate products to allow time to get find a decent product with 10% commission and net 30 cookie.
