Wordpress-Byethost

I have a website and use Byethost for hosting (freehosting) and I wanted to set up a blog and I was told to use wordpress. I was also told I should go to the control panel in byethost for this but I don't see anything about wordpress. How do I use wordpress and do I need to download software and pay for hosting to write blogs?

    I am not using byet host, but the other host and in cpanel there is a software called fantastico, from that software you can download wordpress either in subfolder or subdomain for your present site.

    if you are new to it and want to learn how to installed wordpress etc the basic element, i suggest to look for the warrior Craig Desorcy and look his signature, he has a very good free guide on how to start a blog(wordpress blog) ebook

    Do you have access to cPanel with the host or do they use something else for their control panel?

      I guess I need to pay for premium hosting to get access to Cpanel and Fantastico. BTW, I moved to Bangkok from Vegas, I lived near Desert Shores (Rainbow, Lake Mead) for 15 years
