Lately I have been struggling with a low click through rate of between 2% and 4%. This has gone on for now almost 3 months. I am still making great money with my list, but know that if I could just increase my average click through rate by 25% or so my income would more than likely also increase by 25%. My main goal is to get around 8% to 12% CTR consistently as that would have a dramatic impact on my business. I used to get anywhere from 5% to 8% consistently which is why my most recent drop is noticeable. The funny thing is I have compared offers that did well from 3 months ago to offers I am now offering and content I am now offering my list, and it is very similar. So something has happened, and I need to reconnect with my list in a big way. I am mainly posting this to see if any other Warriors could help me with suggestions for increasing opens and CTR. What has worked well for you? If you could name one expert on email conversion who would that be? Thank you for your help. |

It's hard to give useful advice without seeing more details on what you've sent to your list in the past. There are many reasons why your open rates and CTRs have dropped off but without seeing the evidence it's hard to give useful pointers. However... One way to increase click-through-rates for sure is to continually split-test your e-mails. Have you been doing that to find out what your lists respond best to? So, continually split-test your subject lines and body message to find the best approach for your list. Dedicated to your success, Shaun |
