Hello Warriors,
I am new to this forum and I wanted to get your opinion on what type of affiliate business that I can get start from home. I have been working from home since 2002 for call centers companies. I am now looking to start my own internet business from home.

Thank you in advance for any advice that you can give me.

Sincerely,
MommaMillion

Welcome to the Warrior Forum, nice to be the first to welcome someone.

Well Clinkbank is a great place to start, but don't discount other services as well. Don't know if you know it but Amazon, eBay, even Old Navy all have affiliate programs so start with something your excited about. Makes it easier to stay focused if your actually looking to promote something you might actually use yourself.

When I got started with Internet Marketing is was to promote my Herbalife site instead of buying leads. Then I got involved with two internet companies, Veretekk and Worldprofit. Both of those have not only given me an income (enough to buy dinner and a movie) but more importantly training that I needed to get started and understand the "basic" requirement and skills I needed.

    Regards,

The best thing to do is to get familiar with how search engines work and keywords. Start a blog and work on getting it indexed with search engines. Once you do this and you see success, it is time to start your business.

Learning the basics is always where to start. Never jump right into something your not sure about because trust me, %90 of the information you get will be misleading and full of links and tutorials that only lead you back to step one. So scroll past the links and ebooks and move on by researching the basics. It's a challenge but yet alot of fun. Good luck and welcome

I personally have had ZERO success with clickbank. Try Facebook, there are a lot of people banking off that including me, if you have money though set up an ad. PPC is great

Start things by reading this forum's threads that give real insight about IM.

Do little things first, for example create a small and simple blog it's very easy now a days to start a free blog.

Start promoting your blog by social bookmarking and backlinking (If you don't know these terms then better to read about them first).

Once you familiar with these basics and get a success by driving traffic on to your blog then it's time to put your hands in IM by promoting either ClickBank or Amazon products.

Go with what you know. If you know the call center biz do something in that industry. You're going to spend a lot of time and money breaking into a new industry you don't have any contacts in yet.

Spend a few days or a week just looking at this forum and absorbing some information, find a proven method that has a great track record of working for people, then stick to it and keep working at it until it makes you money.

Do not get distracted by anything else, just keep working at it, Bum Marketing is a good, proven method that will take some work, but it has been proven to work, that is how I started out.

Once you make some money you can start looking into other programs, Lee McIntyre has some great stuff.

If you are looking to get started in affiliate marketing, Clickbank covers many of the "evergreen" niches. However, there are affiliate programs for just about every imaginable product and service out there.

If you're going to be taking the free/low-cost route, this is presumably going to involve writing articles of some kind, whether for submission to article directories or for insertion into your own website. So, I'd start by examining your interests and passions. It'll be much easier for you if you get started in a niche that you are knowledgeable about, or at least have some interest in.

Research a few niches, and figure out which one resonates with you the most. Once you've done that, it's a simple matter of finding related affiliate programs in that niche to promote.
