Default What's the Easiest way to create an opt-in page?

Hey everyone,

I've heard a lot about opt-in/squeeze pages, and I know should implement them on my websites.

What's the easiest way to create an opt-in page? Is there a program or website that you all use?

Thanks!

Justin

If you have the money, hiring a freelance programmer will be the best way. You are sure to get a quality page that way.

If you don't have the money, you can use all sorts of software to make a squeeze page. They are usually quite simple, so using a WYSIWYG will be pretty simple.

Here are a few links for some free ones:

kompozer.net/
seamonkey-project.org/
w3.org/Amaya/Amaya.html

I've not used any of these, but I hear great things about the last one!

These seem to be the favorite options for managing opt-in mailing lists:

Email Marketing Software, Email Newsletters and Autoresponders by AWeber

Email Marketing, Autoresponder, Email Marketing Software - GetResponse

The benefits to using these paid/hosted services is that they have deals with the big free email providers, guaranteeing your emails will be delivered.

The problem with using your own email newsletter program hosted on your own server like: phplist.com : Homepage : home (which is very powerful no less) is that your messages might not get through spam filters for the free email providers.

Hope this info helps you!

Here's one that might help you to understand the process a bit:

Recently, I have been using Jorge's OptinPageGenerator. He is giving it away free in a Warrior Forum WSO here:
WHO ELSE WANTS THE MOST POWERFUL OPT-IN SQUEEZE PAGE GENERATOR SOFTWARE? FREE!

It is a desktop application that creates the opt-in/squeeze page. Very easy to use. By default, just add your autoresponder code. Upload to your website. Done!

Tip. Until you can subscribe to a monthly autoresponder service I always recommend Followup Autoresponder Free at:
Autoresponder comparison - Compare Free, Basic and Pro version php follow up autoresponders :: between features like autoresponder, messages, subscribers ...
