Some guy called me and he said his company purchased the rights to market medical weight loss in Tampa on the header of google... not really sure what he means by that?

Any help?

Probably either talking about the Ads at the top of the search results or maybe the Google local/business results??

Or maybe, just maybe, they had just smoked a doobie?

    Help with what?

Some guy called you and said something that you didn't understand or misunderstood. But you didn't ask questions for clarification.

    (now my) Questions:
    1. Why do you care what he said?
    2. What kind of help you want and why?
    3. How does this call affect your business?
    4. Do you think posting about every weird call we get is useful?

first it was a message , then and the question was does anyone know what he means by "the right to market medical weight loss in Tampa on the header of google"

The board is for asking questions.

And by the looks of your blog, i certainly wouldn't be leaving any advice on here if I were you.

    (now my) Questions:
    1. Why do you care what he said? Cause it could be worth something investing in, always seek more information on opportunity
    2. What kind of help you want and why? Is this serious....?
    3. How does this call affect your business? It doesn't yet but could potentially for the better.
    4. Do you think posting about every weird call we get is useful? No. This is my first time ever posting on a weird phone call I received. As I mentioned the board is for asking questions old man

Thank you for being worried about my advices... I will certainly consider your suggestion because I really don't know anything about blogs :p

People, don't listen to my advice about blogs because I am old and my blog looks... well, I don't even know how it looks like but it must be bad.

Discussion, actually, which often involves questions. And rarely requires being insulting when someone asks for clarification, in an attempt to find out what you want to know.

If you don't want to have to explain your questions, perhaps you should consider phrasing them in an intelligible fashion the first time?

Actually, as silly as I thought this post was, I think Istvans first post was uncalled for and insulting. The guy is simply asking a question. That's how we learn and grow as Internet Marketers. That's what this board is here for. Not to mock but to help one another.

        And I quote...

"1. Why do you care what he said? Well obviously he is curious as to what the caller was talking about and whether it could be of benefit to him and his business. I don't really think he needs to explain this to you anyway. He is simply asking a question - if you can't help, move on.

        2. What kind of help you want and why? I think he explained it quite clearly in the first post. Although a little weird, I still understood quite clearly what he was asking.

        3. How does this call affect your business? Again, why is this relevant to you and why does he need to explain himself to you. He has asked a simple question and wants clarification.

        4. Do you think posting about every weird call we get is useful? This is a silly comment and goes against the whole idea of the Warrior Forum. If we mocked everyone who had asked a silly question on this board then it wouldn't be very successful would it.

I recommend you call Some Guy back and ask him for clarification. Personally, my crystal ball is broken right now.

This persons claims are a PURE SCAM.

Google does not give rights to market anything to any companies or individuals.

I know exactly what your talking about because I have received many many calls to my own company from concerns making this outlandish claim.

What you could do is gather all the information about the company you can and forward it to Google so they can send them a warm letter saying hello.

    Will,
I think Istvans first post was uncalled for and insulting.
    A reasonable interpretation.

There are lines. I don't think anyone's crossed them yet, but this sort of commentary tends to degenerate to that point.
