Replying when someone fills out a contact form

Many of us have a contact form on our website in where we ask the person to complete their name, email address and question.

Now when you respond to their inquiry you need to send an email. What subject do you use in the email?

Do you use something similiar to:

"Here is the info that you requested"

The above line may look like spam and the person making the inquiry may not read the email. Any suggestions?

RE: Your Question To X Site.

I use this when I don't reply to someone's comment
on my blog or approve it, I let them know why, and
    I title the e-mail.

My contact forms has a subject field, therefore when I reply it looks like:

Re: What ever their subject is.

I am using a pre made form on a pre made site that does not include a subject field.

You could perhaps try "Reply to your message at (site-name)"?

I wrote my own contact form which emails me the customer's request.

There is a separate box for "subject" on the form and when I get the email from the form submission, that's the subject line of the email. So when I reply, the subject line of the reply is "Re: Their subject".

For me, that was the ideal so that I didn't have to manually create a subject line for the reply. In effect, I'm simply replying to the email they sent me, albeit via a contact form.

I'm sure others here will tell us if an "off the shelf" contact form script exists that does it this way.

    Cheers,

RE: whatever their subject was. They'll hopefully recognize what they themselves wrote.
In my own experience with contact forms as a user those are the ones I immediately recognize in my inbox. Also it's good to reply with an email from the same domain. I've had folks reply to me with a hotmail, yahoo etc. address that had no obvious connection to the site I filled out the contact form on. Confusing.
It's easy to set up the reply as coming from @yourdomain.com in gmail.

Thanks for everyones input. Let me show you the form that I am using...

I am using a marketing system called Prosperity Central. Its a real nice system and I would not be surprised if a fellow Warrior had something to so with its development.

The page can be seen at Marketing System Link and you need to click on the Contact Me Box on the right.

You will be able to see the info that the form shows. Most people leave the comment section blank.
