Paypal does not determined your traffic? You must have a setup problem.

All paypal does is that the money - they have no influence over whether people decide to buy or not.

You need to look at other aspects of why your sales might be down.

Do you use any other payment options? relying on paypal can be a problem, not only could it have been a connention problem between paypal and your site but it could also be a personal preference that your visitors do not want to use paypal.

The latter is not really relvant as you would have see this in previous months.

What is important is to have an alternative option on your site so that is paypal has a problem ( which they do) that you have an alternative and do not lose a sale. If paypal ever decide to close your account (which they do) you would have a backup alternative.

What does that have to do "with PayPal"?

Paypal is just a payment processor, and it has nothing to do with the number of sales that you make. I've been regularly getting sales from my Paypal over the past few days without any issues, so perhaps your traffic isn't converting anymore?

You might want to look into revamping your squeeze/landing page so that it gives you better conversions. This issue of yours definitely does not have anything to do with Paypal.

I agree with the other posters, and think you're most likely shining the light in the wrong place. Unless you have some indication that would-be purchasers are arriving at your PayPal link with CC in hand and something goes squirrelly subsequently, it's more likely that your sales funnel has a leak somewhere else.
