Newbie asking for help: Please help me choose a method that pays back the hard work.

Hello Warrios, I'm a beginner.

I'm just overwhelmed by the variety of the methods available for making money online, I'd really like to choose one and stick to it but didn't find a thread where they would list all the methods that I can choose from.

From what I learned, the big categoris would be affiliate marketing, pvc, adsense, etc.
Is article marketing considered a subset of affiliate marketing?
Is building one-way links considered a different method from article marketing?
I'm actually attracted to article marketing because it seems like many people have succeeded with that. But I'm worried because although I can speak English, it's not my native language. Should that be a problem to me? Can I still go for article marketing?
I mean I can write in English, it's just not my native language.

Anybody please help me on choosing a method? And please tell me if I can succeed in article marketing even if English is not my native language.

I'm ready to work hard, becaue I'm used to that, it's just that I'd like to stick to one method that pays back the hard work done. Because backlinking to a site looks doesn't seem to pay as much back because it's hard to see the results when in article marketing, every article published could be considered to be some kind of pay back.

Help me please.

Thank you.

You need an editor for your articles if your English is not perfect. You can find one at elance.com, for example. However, making money with article writing is quite difficult for beginners, in case you are only promoting your products. Submit your articles to ezinearticles.com if this is the case. You'll get traffic this way.

There are many methods you can follow in order to make money, but if you are a newbie you'll probably only spend money without making any in the beginning.

Try promoting affiliate products, which you'll find at clickbank.com

Another good way of making money without any investment is by creating Squidoo lenses. You have to create many lenses to see positive results.

Here is a lens that shows you how to easily create Squidoo lenses and get traffic:

    http://www.squidoo.com/passive-income-website-traffic-squidoo-beginners-guide

Work as an affiliate, promoting Clickbank products and other products in your lenses, and only after learning how everything works online, create your own website or blog.

    Take care!

You're English doesn't seem bad. I've seen some people who have no idea how to write in English and the results were horrible. I'm sure you'd do fine writing articles.

Stick with article marketing and find a plan to follow. You can learn all of the information and get all of the knowledge, but without a solid plan, you're sort of traveling blind. Find a method that works and stick it out. Then, tweak that method until you find results. After that, it's a matter of rinse and repeat.

Obviously, this is easier said than done, but I think article marketing is an excellent way to start out. I still do heavy article marketing to this day and always have. It's helped me make a good amount of money without much investment. It's almost like being able to "pull cash from the air" once you get things rolling, so to speak.

"Methods" are too many to mention.

While methods will give you a line to follow and some directions, they should only be sought out after deciding some other things first. Things like what it is you want to sell and what your niche is.

Some methods will work better for some niches than for others.

For example, some free information type sites may not do as well to promote affiliate products as the would using adsense.

This will give you the option to choose the methods that will help you - not be constrained to specific products or niches because of the method you chose.

        Does this make sense?

I know how you feel.... overwhelming at times.
    Been there and done that!

One of the easiest ways to get started is to create a simple product, preferbly something you are good at or passionate about and putting up a simple website.
Write a few articles each week and point them via your signature link to your site.

It wont send people in their thousands but should get you some traffic and start you building a list

    Hope this helps a little

I'm not sure what you mean by "pvc", but I'm going to guess that you meant 'PPC', or Pay-Per-Click.

There are three basic ways of making money online:

    > Sell your own products.
    > Sell other people's products (affiliate marketing).
    > Sell a service of some type.

Many people end up with some mix of all three.

Article marketing is actually a method of generating traffic, or visitors to a website or other property. It can be used to promote any of the three money makers listed above.

Building links can be considered another traffic strategy. The main purpose of building links is to increase the ranking of your web properties in the search results.

Many people use article marketing purely as a method for getting backlinks, but it can be more. If the article is good enough and the topic is right (can't spell that out as it varies), other publishers will place your articles on their sites, in their newsletters, etc. and give you a link as payment. You also get exposure and traffic directly from those links.

If this post is a sample, your English is better than many native speakers. What usually crosses up non-native speakers with decent grammar and command, like you, is a lack of feel for English idiom.

Based on this small sample, you'll need practice editing your articles.

As I said above, backlinking is not really a money-making method in itself unless you provide a backlinking service for others. Building links is a means to an end, not the end itself.

There are a ton of excellent threads on article marketing here on the forum. Spend a little time poking around, and if you come up with more questions, feel free to ask...

Article marketing is a great method - though I wouldn't consider it a subset of affiliate marketing, per se.
Your English in your post seems fine, but if you are uncomfortable with your ability to be clear and concise in English, then just have an editor from elance.com edit your articles for you.
Also, be sure to write quality articles, with interesting content, and clear contact information for your website.

You may be amazed because you understand what he's saying but when it comes to write about a products or something it's not the same, i have the same problem, Im french and I wanted to write articles but I didnt know how to write what I had in mind, so it was difficult to do it, well if you want an advice find a friend on face book or elsewhere and ask him to review or even rewrite your articles for you bro'. John:

The "Peripheral Venous Catheter (PVC) method" is the newest, quickest, most direct and highly effective medium of sales persuasion - and the one set to supersede sales-pages and copywriting, and other outdated tactics, in 2011.

It involves administering your sales-pitch (which is now less of a pitch than it is an order) directly into bloodstream, and results in near-100% sales conversion rates, without the need for opt-ins, follow-ups, trust-building or any of that old hat.

      (Sorry, couldn't resist).

Well, most/all online money making methods revolve around 2 things: Traffic (usually targetted) & Conversions.

The thing is, there are many ways to harness targetted traffic: SEO, article marketing, forum posting, video marketing, etc - just to name a few.

Most traffic-generation techniques fall into 2 categories (or so would say a lot of people, I think): referral traffic (diverting traffic, through whatever means, from websites/sources that already have some), or SEO / search-engine optimisation (ranking pages in search-engines like Google/Yahoo/Bing for certain keyword search-terms that people actively search for in significant numbers).

Likewise, there are numerous ways to convert/monetise that traffic once you've got it. You can be an affiliate for relevant products/services, you can make money from CPA offers, from programs like AdSense, or you can sell your own stuff, etc.

And of course, you use any (or all) of these traffic generation methods in conjuction with any (or all) of the conversion/monetisation methods. So there's a good number of potential combinations, there.

So you really have to choose based on what each of them entails, and what most appeals to you - or else based on what you think would gel better with your current strengths/abilities.

    They're different things.

Article marketing is a means of generating traffic. Affiliate marketing is the conversion/monetisation model. It just means you're promoting other peoples' products/services (not your own), in return for a commission.

A lot of affiliate marketers do engage in article marketing as part of their core business / traffic-generating strategy, though - yes.

You can "kill two birds with one stone" in that you can publish/amass links in the articles you write for article maketing - both on the directories to which you submit those articles, and on any websites where you may end up having your articles syndicated / republished.

But building one-way links is predominantly done for SEO purposes, in order to increase one's ranking in the search-engines, from which you can then harness search-traffic.

A lot of people who write articles for article marketing aren't native English speakers/writers, (and therefore often don't write the best quality articles) but still see some success.

Done in the traditional sense though, the biggest chunk of money in article marketing is found when you have your articles syndicated to other peoples' high-quality, relevant websites, beyond article directories.

Naturally, this is less likely to happen if your English isn't great, since most webmasters of high-quality websites want high-quality content with good spelling and grammar, etc.

Without seeing an example article, it's hard to really say how much success you might see with article marketing.

I'm sure many others (in addition to those who already have) will be able to offer more/better advice, so I'll leave it here for now.

    Good luck.

Affiliate marketing is promoting someone else's product or service...

Article marketing is a method for generating traffic to your offer...
