Honest Assessment and Opinion

I have been online for over 3 years. Yes I know maybe a newbie. I was thinking today how much more i have to learn. I have purchased over $2500.00 in the last few years. I have tried adsense and ebay and even word press mage which cost close to a $100.00 itself. Maybe I have spread myself out so much and focused on so many things at once. I am tired of the emails of offers saying make $10,000 in the next month. That really is unrealistic yet we fall for these sales letters and by the product only to be let down and discouraged again.
My goal is $1500 a month and right now the most i have made in one month is $200.00.

Sorry for venting but maybe i just need to take a break and refocus and regroup. Anyone else have these same feelings and thoughts that i do?

    Focus on a large market and stick too it. Once u find the market work on testing to improve your conversions and visitors. Test bonus content, different prices, surveys, exit scripts, everything. Just remember if u can make $1 a day you can make $1000.

    Unsubscribe from all lists you are currently on... Pick one product or service to promote and choose 2-3 marketing strategies to promote with...

    You have to quite buying stuff, because all the new offers really do is distract you. Pick one method of selling that suits your personality, and learn how to do it as best as you can. Focus on one thing and work it. When I finally did this, I started having success. Oh, one other thing that is VERY important -- start learning to drive Traffic immediately, because no traffic equals no sales when you are marketing online. This is the thing that all the books "forget" to tell you -- you have to learn to generate traffic.

    The one thing I realize is this.
    1. I need to get organized and have a plan. I think I try to do to much at one time. Instead of quantity, I need to focus on quality. I need to stop working on several things at once.

      You've GOT to stop being distracted by the shiny objects. It's not always easy to ignore them, but that is at least part of what's hurting you.

      Take a fast food restaurant. They can't serve fancy, white tablecloth sit down meals. It's not their business model. They would be wasting their time.

      Can someone make money running a fancy restaurant, probably. Should a fast-food restaurant try to do both? No.

      Pick something that interests you the most. Stick to it.

      One question as well - on all those packages you bought - did you FINISH them and TRY their techniques?

      I'm not trying to pick on you, but most people that would describe themselves the way you have will say no to that question. You've got to see it through.

      Yes, there are junk products out there. Try to avoid them or at least learn something from them if you get one.

      Whatever you do, at least finish the courses you do purchase. But IMHO, limit them for now until you get a solid footing.
