You've already heard this, maybe hundreds of times, but maybe not like this... And maybe this time it truly resonates as it just did for me earlier today. You see, we've all heard a hundred times how important "building relationships" is, but have you ever truly and fully, practiced that notion? Let me explain... I've always known that building relationships is a key ingredient to achievement. Because, it often takes other people to grow higher and learn deeply more of what it takes to reach higher and higher levels. Other people can build you up (or rip you down), and other people can open up opportunities you never could have predicted before you grew that relationship. Because you see, you never know what can appear from ANY relationship. You never know what opportunities or doors will open, unless you try. Earlier today I spoke with two seperate people who are extremely successful and earning millions of dollars per year. Both of them are. And for some reason, I reached out and said something like, "we should chat more, get to know each other more, maybe we can help each other out somehow in the future." Both agreed and both exchanged contact information with me to carry on and see what happens. Because, you never know. Even if it's a piece of advice... a lending hand, or a casual good conversation... you never know what can come out of it. And that reminded me... one of the things I've talked about many times to people looking to escape the rat race is that there is two completely different worlds out there... There's the "business owner" world and the "employee world". The employee world has no idea how many opportunities those in the business owner world get. They just never see it. It does not exist. They are too used to getting a bi-weekly pay check to realize all the abundance of opportunity that opens up when you are a business owner. It's abundant. There's too much opportunity to even deal with. You have to turn opportunities away. You have to figure out how to spend your time wisely and pick and chose what opportunities to take. It's crazy. But, the employee world never sees them and barely knows they exist. So, striking relationships and focusing on building relationships is one of, if not the best thing anyone could do to open up the abundance of "opportunities" out there. And, learning how to ask is a skill all on it's own. You have to be willing to ask in this business of striking relationships and utilizing those relationships you have. Asking is something people need to learn how to do much better. Asking is an art and a skill, and when you learn how to do it right, with confidence, as a business owner, results happen. In Internet Marketing, the world of IM is still dominated by relationships. Even though there is the net, and people can hide behind screen names and fake identities, it's still very much a relationship driven arena. And those who are good at building those relationships and utilizing them always tend to do quite well. So, open up... get outside yourself... get outside that comfort zone and strike relationships. And, do it for the sake of striking relationships. Do it unconditionally... and be there for others. Put their interest in mind first, unconditionally. Do that and I guarantee... your financial life will change forever. Eric Louviere |

Amen to that, brother! This is an amazingly powerful concept that can work for good and evil, both for and against you. That's why it's SO important to treat each person as if they know everyone else in your network, because even if they don't directly know them, if word gets around (good or bad), it will have pretty much the same effect. I hope that made sense ;-) This makes me think of the Six Degrees mind game - personally, I can get to world leaders - presidents, pope, and a handful of entertainers/celebrities in usually 5 or less "degrees." Amazing. Thanks for the great post, Eric. Bill |

Brilliant post Eric. A dollar value cannot be put on the value of solid relationships in this business. But you highlight even something more important which is the idea of being there for others unconditionally. So often we get caught up in our own business and our own world that we fail to see the gold in doing that. Thanks for reminding us just how important this is. It may well be the single factor standing between someone who is struggling and the amazing success they seek. Ken |
