Do as I say you can do, not as I say I told you I could not do.

I often see in warrior forum threads like:

Please help me to make money etc and in the signature:

Learn here the system to make $2000 a month with almost no work or some bull**** like that.

Hellooo! It's either one or the either. I don't claim to make money and I asked for help so many time but you don't see in my siganture the system to start making money now. When I'll start making money so much that I think I can teach others...then you will see that kind of signature!

Yes, the signatures compared to the comments in the forum are sometimes quite amusing

This web, weak spun . Spider 'quiet in the middle , fresh prey jiggles .
Weaved 'silk tore , free once more . Spin again , fasten tight to hold the rest who stumble in .

I see this almost every day. People try to make it look like their article is more realistic by saying things like that. Sad but true.

I was going to suggest a "lets come up with better bio's to help beginners". But i just read that article in the screenshot, and it's over the place.

The bit that sticks out to me, is the list size, where did it come from, what does it mean?

I'm finding alot more articles are assuming you already know everything and are not beginner friendly at all. 10K+ list of subscribers, what is that? people who you have coached? people you mail letters to everyday ?

    My 5cents

      Yea I noticed that too.
I think this is because the term "beginner" can apply to a wide spectrum.

It's actually funny how many threads there are on warrior discussing how to determine whether or not someone is a newbie.

Maybe we are being a little hard on him. Rapid success is not the same as get rich quick. Success can come in levels. For example, create a squeeze page: success. Create a mailing list: success. Make your first $10: success. Etc, Etc.

If he teaches you to do these things rapidly, then that's a success.

Well, I suppose Bill's definition of sexual relations may not encompass everything that includes the exchange of bodily fluids.

There are a lot of subjective terms and phrases that can be skewed one way or the other, and it all depends on the reader as to what it actually conveys to him/her.

Terms like "success" and "get rich quick" may have different meanings to different readers. As Brian has pointed out, the meaning of success to one person may be vastly different to another. Even with the term "get rich quick" there are two subjective descriptors here. Someone's definition of being rich may be entirely different from Donald Trump's definition of the word. The same goes for the word quick as well. Someone may think "quick" is in 24 hours or less, while I may think 2-3 months.

OK it was really funny. But you are right. When you are a complete newbie, someone with A list - even 200 is an expert! They still know more than you do. You just keep climbing the ladder. The more you learn, the higher you need to look for help (or competition). This is a HUGE field that is constantly changing. We will all be learning forever or until we get out of the game - or at least we should be - to keep our business current and profitable.

Your quite right, i didn't mean for it to come across as a put down on newbies, a lot of the posts and wso's teach you to have a clear message. It's good he's taken action and gotten out there and done things.

However, a lot of people would associate rapid with quick, ie get rick quick. When you write an article or blog post, you really need to consider how the people you are targeting will take it, and the OP's post on this thread goes to show that.

Perhaps the Sig box should of been something like
"Getting rich quick never works, however if you visit this link we'll teach you how to accelerate your earnings and get results quicker then if you just fumbled around yourself"

to quote something i read a little while back (not sure who - but if someone knows!)

Tell them what you are going to tell them
      Tell them about it
Tell them what you told them
Tell them what you want them to do next.

      Seems work really well

I found the guy's website by putting an unusual sentence from the article into a Google search. That took me to his article in EzineArticles, which has link to his sit in his resource box.

Here is the headline on his site:

"Discover How I Banked Over $7k In My First 30 Days Online and I'll Show You Step-By-Step Exactly How To Do It So You Can Copy The Whole Process For Yourself"

    Hmmmmmmmm - more irony.
