Is my microniche too micro? Adsense ads irrelevant.

Is it possible that my niche is too thin? My ads seem a bit irrelevant. So, is it better to focus on sites that aren't so specific, but which may take longer to develop traffic?

It's late, forgive my grammar.

New and appreciate feedback.

Thanks!

  • Yes it is possible to have to narrow a niche. What if nobody is interested in it? What if nobody spends money in it. Is anyone else making money in that niche? If you are dominating the niche and have it monetized and you are still making nothing then broaden it a little.

Oh, Just notice you were talking about adsense. Adsense can be funny. Sometimes the ads have nothing to do with your site at all. Whats up with that?

I don't think that is that the ads are irrelevant, I think that their aren't enough advertisers to fill the additional as slots for ad units you are using.

Try building your site out with some secondary subjects that are relevant to your main topic.

    Try hurricane survival kits.

    Agree with Rus.

But also keep in mind that Adsense relies on the words in the URL to determine what to place on the page. If your URL does not reflect your desired ads, then you must change your URLs or give up on making Adsense work for your site.
