  Well, I've been with CJ since 2006 & back then I don't recall any contacts from them. I was instant back then I think... not sure what the new sign-up procedure is (shrugs)

I signed up with them a few months ago, didn't do anything with my account yet.

I'd better get started, cuz I'm afraid they will close it if I do nothing with it.

But the approval was instant and I didn't get a phone call from them.

If you don't make a sale every so many weeks they will deactivate your account and if you have money owed they charge you 10 bucks a month until you're either re-activated or your account is back to zero.

I just sign up last week,instant approved. just a email send to me saying Welcome to the Commission Junction network blahblah my website just one page. but i think is harder to get the merchants approval if your site isnt ready. because many of them is manually approval. i got many declined from first 8 pages lol.

The sign-up is instant, but from what I remember you do have to print a W-9 form and send it to them before they send out any pay (if you live in the U.S.)

Signing up with CJ is a breeze and instant as ever. It's the merchants who can make things easy or hard when it comes to application status. Many merchants let CJ reps manage their program, so in those instances you may be receiving a phone call.

I signed up just a couple of days ago but went thru overstock.com. Was told that acceptance easier with overstock and they are part of CJ. Within 1 hour had approval for Overstock and CJ at the same time.

When asked how you will promote your site, choose Website/Content. In your description indicate that you are a “Natural Search Content Website”. Also, NEVER say “Yes” when asked if you will offer incentives to your visitors. This will (in most cases) get you a quick rejection notice.

& website that i gave was secretstoonlineriches.com (these links are missing the www as have not got enough posts to have links in my messages

Great info and hopefully once I get accepted by CJ I will be able to find enough instant approval merchants to get experience and traffic built up to go for more affiliate networks.

I just registered 2 domains and getting to register a 3rd. I have the generic web site templates that I will be customizing in the next few days and then I will apply to CJ.

Signing up for merchants is another thing. If your website isn't established, don't expect to get many of the bigger names.

Agree, i try another network google affiliate, many of the applications got rejected. so i am going to setup the page with some approved merchants first then reapply again later.

but as i found out that still have many applications pending. its like more than 2 weeks. i suspect those merchants aren't very active or they have full load of applications to handle. what you guys think?

Does anyone know a good tutorial on which you can learn about all the numbers and analytics on CJ

You know how on ebay you look to see the positive feedback percentage of a seller aswell as how long theyve been selling and where the item is based and if they have a shop.

I kinda need something like that for CJ please if anyone can help that would be awesome.
