Where are all the Thanks?

INTERNET MARKETING

I have just loggen on after the forum update and there seems to be a distinct lack of "Thanks" and "Thanked" on my login....

Hrmm how come the feature was dropped?

Seemed like a good idea, i wonder if they are planning something else instead.

No we had some problems. The thanks might be gone for good, I don't know yet. We're trying to save them but it looks nasty...

That hack is a server hog...

  It's not actually the resources that's the problem, it hogs up a lot but the servers can handle it. The post tables crashed and the thank you hack is the reason for it.

I certainly hope you can bring it back, Allen. I've found that to be an invaluable resource for me to track useful threads, the forum will not be the same without it.

Perhaps a different version of the thanks mod is in order or just leave it out all together. I've honestly never seen much point in it. I prefer a reputation mod myself. They are kind of the same thing, but it sounds better when you have lots of rep than it does if you have lots of thanks.

We all were depended on it. The side bar showing profile looks a bit empty and awkward without it. Please bring it back..

  Same thing happened to me several times too after the disappearance of the thanks button, I was automatically and unconsciously reaching over to click on a non-existent button to thank a few people for their posts, lol!

Ouch the thanks are gone? That's a pretty massive part of this forum for me. Hope this gets fixed. Fingers also crossed.

I agree its a really important feature.

- It gives people a reason to post more good content, I admit to thinking to ways to make more impressive posts cause I wanna see more thanks.

- Its a quick rep guide for other other members so you can tell just how much of a useful contribution they've made.
