Yes you can, you have salespage themes that you can use, or if you have the budget and you want to be unique, you can pay a designer/coder to create your own theme.

Yes you can indeed. I use wordpress for all my sales pages. Do a search for Optimize Press and you will find a really cool wordpress theme that allows you to do sales, squeeze, and launch pages all within wordpress. You'll like that one. I'm using it for all my sales pages. I have a full review and video walkthrough on my blog because I love it so much!

Can You give me a tip on How could I do that? Make a wordpress blog look like a sales page?
Well, it's not going to do it out-of-the-box if that is what you were hoping for.

You could use a page as a static homepage and that would come close but for something more creative and reflective of typical sales pages you're going to need to get your hands dirty and play with the code.

There are a couple of WP themes available that do this, two of them are way over priced for the ugly results they produce and I've seen a couple of guys with freebies in their signatures from time to time.

I generally just post as a Page instead of a post and remove the action for commenting. It maybe slightly newbish but It is simple for now. I am currently working on redesigning all my sights with html/css.

Well you can just use the default template. Change the header graphic, write your sales copy with some custom graphics. Works fine.

Of course you can also use advanced themes like "Headway Themes" and create pretty much anything you like.

If you want it to look like a sales page, there are free Wordpress sales page themes you can use: have a look here, for a start.

But ... why do you want a pre-selling page to look like a sales page?!

It's something I take care to avoid, myself.

I let the vendor's sales-page be the sales page, and I put up pre-selling pages, which are very different indeed, and I don't want them to look anything like a sales page. So I'm just asking, because my own perspective is that producing something that's a "sales-page" rather than a "pre-selling page" is one of the commonest mistakes that affiliates make.

@Alexa smith I agree to a certain extent. But it is also a huge mistake to pre-sell with a page that is completely different because too many changes in flow and graphics disrupts the sales process. If it is a review site then fine, but sandwich pages should retain at least the same elements as the sales page to maintain the trut you gain during the pre-sell.

There is a really good Word Press Sales Page template available for free in the War Room. I've used it on a few of my sites and it looks really professional.

Also, you can use a free theme available on Wordpress itself. This is a really good one that is designed for internet marketing called: Intrepidity. To locate this theme, just log into your admin acct --> install themes --> search for: intrepidity 1.5.1 by Top Blog Formula

    Good Luck!

Istvan, I think you forgot about changing your signature.

@MagicAce: If Istvan wrote a guide for this, I would recommend checking it out first. He is extremely knowledgeable regarding Wordpress, and I've never seen him give incorrect advice to anyone yet.

If I may put my 2 cents in, I think you should consider using the Headway theme. It is very flexible and I am confident that you could make a pre-sell page using that theme.

I got OptimizePress about a month or so ago and I love it!! For I think $97 you get an unlimited site license. I'm upgrading one of my sites using this bad boy, best $97 you'll ever spend, support is great and they do regular updates. The last one (1.3 I believe) was a huge one. Very powerful theme, easy to use... You'd probably never use another theme, ever!

It's really easy to do if you can do a little bit of code. A sales page is basically an html page.

1)Grab a good sales page, all you want is the structure table layouts etc. not someone else's, modify this new page in DW or another text editor

2)Create a new template in wordpress, google for 'how do I create a template' and save

3)Create a new wordpress page, on the right choose your new template, drop in your html code., save

4)Redirect you people to the new sales page

      OR
sign up and buy someones plugin or other offering.

It took me about 3 hours the first time I did it, graphics and all. I can do it in about 20 minutes now not counting sales copy.

I use optimize press and find it very easy to use. Plus you get graphics pack and some basic header images as well.

if you have a sales page in html template. You can create a wordpress template with it which you can use on pages or posts. It does involve playing a bit with wordpress in your directory, but there are quite a few free videos that explain how to do this. Once you have created it, you just login to your wordpress site, create the page/post and on the right side below the publish box, there is another box with a dropdown which says templates. You should find your html template in there.
