email Marketing, need help.

I have a lil confusion with email marketing as an affiliate marketer.

I know email marketing is the best way to make a lot of money with.

But I have some confusion .

Here's the case:

If you set your autoreponders email sequence for promoting 6 - 10 products in 1 year full, with 2 - 3 times of emails a week, combined with good "building trust" emails and "gain relationship" emails, then it'll potentially drive you good passive income.

Your next job is just to have more people in the list.

BUT...

What if you want to follow some good product launches in the future? I don't want my list to have 2 different offers at a time (one from email sequence, one from product launch).

What do you think with this dillema?

How do you think we can build a good relationship with email sequences (for some months) and not to worry it'll crash with some product launch emails... ?

If you really think you will promote future product launches and you don't want it to interfere with your other product lines then the best way is to not prepare the sequence on a yearly basis. Prepare it on a shorter basis like quarterly. Although I'd imagine it begin a pain managing.

I think you shouldn't even promote anything through follow-up. Do all affiliate promotion through broadcast.

    Here is what i do:

Write up 3months worth of emails for the autoresponder.

Once someone gets there after 3months, i send them to a questionaire.

The questionaire asks them, how have they liked it so far, etc.

Use that information on how to promote to them using broadcasts.

Also, if there is any promotion you want to do, broadcast to them a different squeeze page about a new offer, capture them then use that to promote about a new product.

Also, if the person of that product releases another product from themselves, they would be more receptive for your promoting of that product.

    Thats how i do it.

You can double mail your list when you want to promote a product launch. Alternately depending on what AR you use you can set it up so your subscribers are moved from list A to list B after a certain period of time. You could then promote offers like product launches, and other affiliate products you want to test to list B.

      Hi guys,

Here's my opinion on this. Your main goal with having an email list is PROVIDING VALUE. Ultimately, that's how I believe you should look at what you are sending your list.

That being said, it's great to provide value automatically using your autoresponder sequence. That gives you a significant amount of leverage, and allows you to make money somewhat on autopilot. If you can have a yearlong sequence that promotes products along the way, Great! That's what you want to have. As long as you are providing value, even with your product promotions.

It's very important to find a balance between promotion and providing value. If you are promoting more than providing value, you will tire your list out. If you provide value and never promote, you won't make any money. I like to look at it as providing more value than you are asking for.

In terms of your broadcasts overlapping with your product promotions in your autoresponder sequence, I wouldn't worry about it. As long as you know you are providing more value than your promotions, you'll be fine. Once again, even in the product promotions, you should be promoting things that you know will add value and help your subscribers reach their goals.

      Hope that helps!

If I were you, I wouldn't put any offers in your autoresponder sequence at all. Things change so quickly these days. People want the latest and greatest information and products. Whose to say those products are not going to be outdated or even selling in one years time?

If they start receiving emails from you about products they first heard about months ago it could ruin your reputation - people will start to think all your information is outdated.

Just load up your autoresponder with lost of give value emails, maybe 1, maximum 2 per week, and then promote products to the list as, and when, you see fit.

OR, just email your list using broadcasts only. One of the emails I always find myself opening is from a marketer who always relates his emails to current events. When Superbowl is on, he somehow links it to a lesson in marketing. When it's Independence day, the same. Same with all the other big events. So I know all his emails have been written just before they are sent. It makes me pay a lot more attention to his emails and the content inside them.

Where do you get a good email marketing contact list of internet buyers? Optin lists do not produce good results.

No email list you buy is going to give you good results. They would not be selling the email list if it were a responsive one. And that same email list has probably been sold to a heap of other people just like you.

The only way to get an email list of buyers is to build it yourself, over time. Give away good value and products in return for an email address.

  • You can have 2 lists but it will amount to the same thing, they see an email from you and will unsusbcribe if you hit them too much.

You could try having a short sequence of follow ups, say a month or 2, then auto subscribe them to a new list, and its this list you send your ad hock messages to.
