Suggestions needed for big niches in foreign country + TT question

Hello,

I live in a non-english speaking country and saw an opportunity in some really competitive niches. Searches for certain keywords are like 5k-15k / month and competition is close to non-existant.

The main problem is that I wouldn't be able to monetize it the way I want - people are still not used to buying stuff online here. Would you advise me to skip the affiliate networks (this would have to include proven product, possibly needed translation on my native language, although this could become USP) or just go with the AdSense and receive steady but low income?

One more quick question: When using Traffic Travis, I am not really sure if those BLS ( Backlinks for whole site) really matter? For example, for certain keyword there are 2 BL and like 5000 BLS. Does that mean I wouldn't be able to overrank them unless I get more then 5k BLS ?

    I think you should jump on it and bust out the site (like...get it done tonight). Then you can TRY out Adsense, affiliate programs, CPA offers, etc...

    If you can tie up that traffic with a seemingly unrelated offer, you can do well too. For example, let's say you have a dentist site but you can't find any dentist affiliate programs and/or people in your area don't generally book online. Serve them teeth-whitening ads by putting banners above the fold in the prime real-estate on the page.

    Trust me, you will make money even if you just throw Adsense on there and it will be worth your time.

    I cannot answer how Traffic Travis uses the BLS value.

    Using adsense OR your own products? Why not both?

    If you are selling only to your countrymen, the online journey starts with finding a product they really want to buy. Then they will overcome their hesitation to buying online.

    Give them a few products to choose from in their selected mother tongue, and give them several ways to buy.

    You could be at the forefront of helping your countrymen jump into the Internet age.
