Ebook creation software for the Mac?

Can anyone recommend a decent Mac app for creating E-books? I'd rather not deal with the Adobe Acrobat overkill. I just need something PDF based I guess, but would like to be able to easily lay things out, add graphics etc. Professional looking covers would be nice too. Mac based only please.

if you don't have that, then NeoOffice. On both, go File-->Export to PDF

We use Pages and it works great for what you are describing. We've tried other software but we always go back to Pages.

I tend to use Keynote. I know it's a little odd. But I can create the "presentation, save it as a .pdf eBook, then as a set of slides, then set it up as a video. I've never bothered to save it as flash, html, or dvd. But you could if it fit your marketing plan.

I use Pages too, and then simply export to PDF. However if it's PLR document, which is normally in .doc format, then I use the free NeoOffice for Mac, then 'export as PDF'.
