Just starting up question.

I have a question, where is the best place I can make a website?
to my understanding, the format I witnessed so far goes like this

Article/social media/forums (open) -----------> Blog(pre-sale)-----> Website(close)

I also understand one key to selling things to people is to serve out free things like ebooks, videos, information, in your presale section.

I don't know how to make a website, but I'm willing to learn if the tools are provided, and I can also find web hosting.

what would be the best route I can take to create a website? should I serve free things? Does anyone have any links or examples of the format Article-->blog-->Website, I can follow upon and see how its done?

thanks in advance.

    What you offer or even if you need to offer anything depends on what you are promoting?

    You might want to have a look at my signature or visit my blog and you'll find plenty of free information that can help with your questions about setting up your website and conversion strategies.

    Hope that helps,

  • Niel is right in that you need to start from the right point. i.e you need to know what you are promoting or selling before you can decide what you need to give away or even if you have to give something away (although it generally works).

    If you go to my signature and use the links to open a free account we have a website builder service available. We do several other key things but part of the service is a website builder which is hosted for you, so it sounds ideal if you are a novice.

      well first off, You should know why you need each of these things, before you use them.

      >> "Article/social media/forums (open) -----------> Blog(pre-sale)-----> Website(close)"

      "serve free things"

      So of course you know u you need "Article/social media/forums" for your traffic source, the blog can be used for some relationship creating purpose's also the rep. of the blog, having other people comment to make your product reputible, or using the blog networks pagrank for SEO purposes.

      For free giveaways I mainly use them to build a list, this will most likely have to be on your website. I would use wordpress for my site it is the easiest to use.

      It is good that you understand how to get a good funnel system going.
      I have training aswell in my sig if interested.

        Hi, JesseJaymes!

        I would advise you to use WordPress as your platform. You can set up a self-hosted account over on WordPress.org. WordPress is a great content management system and there's an inexhaustible list of plugins you can use to improve your site and do a lot of the work for you.

        After setting up your site, depending on your business model, goals and objectives, you may want to also take advantage of web 2.0 properties and social networks to build out your business and provide other ways to reach out to your market or targeted audience.

        Setting up a blog is a great way to open up the lines of communication with your market and build a relationship. Building a relationship and making it easy for your audience to get to know, like and trust you should be on the top of your list of things you MUST do. A blog will allow you to keep your content fresh!

        Helping your readers by providing them with valuable, quality information will go a long way in helping you build a viable list of subscribers that will fill your sales funnel for many years.

        I wish you all the best and I strongly encourage you to take some time to peruse the Warrior Forum. You will find answers to practically any question you have by conducting a search and thoroughly reading the threads. And, if you get stuck or can't find an answer after "googling" it or conducting a search on the forum, then please start a thread -- fellow Warriors will be quick to respond and happy to help.

    I personally have used 1&1 to host my sites plus blogs and have never experienced problems with this company.

    They offer a decent WIZIWIG website builder for anyone who wants to get sites online fast but for better success in your online marketing ventures you should use Wordpress.

    1. Using WordPress (.org), you can either create a blog, or build a website. The beauty of WordPress is that it eliminates the massive learning curve required to become a web designer. You need to use your valuable time building your business, not your website. (Saves money buying a web design program too).

    2. Yes, you can use free products. But you're best use of them is to build a customer list. Normally it's responses to your list which direct people to product sites. You can always advertise affiliate products on your site too.

    3. Article - Blog - Website. Look up almost any product review page, and you will normally land on a WordPress blog/site. From her, if you click on the approriate link it will take you to a site wher you can purchase the product. I hope that's what you meant.

    Article Marketing, Social Media Sites and Forums are seperate subjects. However, to simply see how you can direct people (traffic) back to your blog, simply click on either of the two links in my signature file below.

    Don't worry, you won't be asked for any money, although you can sign up for my list and recieve a free book on one of them.

    Did this help answer your query?

    Cheers

    Um, yeah, basically that's it. But the middle part with the blog, can sometimes be ommited. A lot of people seem to group blogs and sites together. Unless by website, you mean sell page.
