Does Anybody Have Experience With "Tell A Friend" Scripts or Forms?

I have spent almost all day today trying to find a decent "tell a friend" application to use on a website of mine, but I am more confused now than I have ever been!

Has anyone used any of these...Free or Paid?

I really want to implement one on my site, but I have no idea which one to use and if I should just bite the bullet and pay for one. I am trying to be cheap and do it for free, but maybe thats not the best way to go?

I never thought this would be so frustrating, lol.

Thanks for any advice or suggestions!

Frank Kern had an interesting approach. If they recommend friends they got this item and then if the friends took advantage of it then they got this other cool item. He has a script to run it.

im not sure what you mean here, my understanding is that you wish to recommend a product/site to a friend and need the link?

It varies on sites and companies but if you look for a section called become an affiliate then once you register as an affiliate it should give you a link. Either paste the link or make a smaller link by going to tinyurl.com and email to your friends, or hyperlink an image on your site.
    All the best

What I mean is more of a form or application that you would use on a website, for example after a person opts in to your list, on your thank you page you can put a "tell a friend" form that allows people to send your domain name to their friends. You would use this to help grow your list faster.

My problem is first of all, finding a free one. I have searched and couldnt seem to find a good one, so I was wondering if anybody had suggestions for paid tell a friend forms?

I hope this clears it up a bit.
