Yeah I could never understand the need to use a robot voice, it is a huge turn-off.

Here's the deal.. those voices are only appropriate in very limited circumstances. It's a matter of technology being ahead of marketing.

However, in the right niche those voices may work. In the IM niche...not so much.

  It is also very difficult to get your point across with the robotic voices as they just can't get the voice inflections in the content, they can't express emotion, which attracts and draws in the listener.

The robot voices work if you just turning an article into a video, keeping it short and to the point will translate well, but for the money you paid for it you could have invested in something else. Just voice over your videos yourself, your voice doesn't have to be perfect to be successfull.

They will work? They will work as in they will physically play, yes. As for getting any decent visitors to your site, I find that VERY hard to believe.

Articles and video articles are used by people to market their site. This means those articles and videos are going to be the first point of contact those prospects have with your website. And they are met with a crummy computer generated voice. What a relationship building tool that would be.

That's a sure fire way to set your business up for success... NOT.

Either use you're own REAL voice or don't bother at all. It is like submitting articles to article directories that have your keyword in the title, but the rest of the article is about a totally different subject. They will not get anyone to your site.
