Difference between GKT global searches and Adwords?

Ok, I was doing some basic keyword research and looking at some longer-tail keywords and phrases with search numbers of 1K/month. I then went to play around with an Adword campaign and the estimated click were about 1 per day.

I realize that I won't get a perfect ratio between the two counts, but that's pretty low. Do I just ignore it?

If you are looking to advertise to those keywords with low clicks in the AdWords tool, skip it and find another word.

Looking to see the viability of buyers in the marketplace for those keywords (Conduit method), not necessarily to simply get eyeballs.

My only reason for saying stay away is that with this low click rate you are going to have a hard time judging the commercial intent of the keyword (are those searching buying) you can solve that by taking that low click keyword you have found and put it in the OCI tool Bing has and it should give you a better indication if your wasting your time on it.
