Hi All!

I wanted to introduce myself and ask for your expert help:

I'm not new to the Internet or technology. I'm a veteran. I worked for many companies and I've been independent for many year in the technology field (setup startups, sold technology, developed internet sites and more)...

for the past 5 months I've been making a full time living from Click Arbitrage. But with the new AdCenter that doesn't look like it's a good way to continue my work and I want to start full internet marketing.

I need within 2-3 months to reach 4-5K a month earning to continue living (as I've grown attached to eating...

My question is where to start? there are so many program and I've been doign a lot of research. I'm good with PPC but there are so many programs. Where to start?
I've been reading and seeing a lot of programs and I'm feeling a little overwhelmed and confused...

1) should I start with CPA networks? if so aren't those websites with not a lot of value to the user hence they get slapped really quickly?

2) should I find a niche and build a good content website with a list and auto responder? if so wouldn't that take a lot of time? If so how would you go about locating a niche?

3) any other idea of how you'd approach it?

    Hello Warrior and welcome onboard.

Firstly, my advise would be to become a member of the 'War Room'. In there you'll find many answers to what questions you have. But, you need to put in the time to search. use the 'search' feature on this forum and you'll find them easily.

There are no Fast magic pills here. However, since you said that you're an experienced person on the internet, you'll learn pretty fast.

CPA is 1 of the hottest niche to get into and its growing tremendously.

What niche to start a website? Thats up to you. What are you good at? What do you like?

There are many approaches. You need to spend an hr or 2 first, deciding what you want to do - and come up with an actionable plan. Next, search for what you want on this forum.

    Enjoy.

#1 - If you are after a quick start to make sure you can continue living the life you currently are, CPA networks are not a bad choice at all. depending on the network and the offers involved some of them are very high value - and as such, you would never 'get slapped' by using them.

#2 - I grew my first website to the point where it was getting traffic and gaining list subs, etc within 2 days of first starting my IM journey. Within a week I had 3,000 subscribers. It doesn't take much at all. As far as how you go about locating a niche, it is all in your head - what sort of things are you knowledgeable about - I would always start with what you know first.

#3 - None at all. Without an amount of Investment, CPA is definitely the way to go at the beginning - AdSense is a lot of work and testing and time (though the long term results are good). PPC requires a lot of investment if you are new, as do media buys.

I think ShawnPeter gave you sufficient answer to your questions. However I would like to add few suggestions:

    1) Keep in mind your available source to choose among your interested topics.
    2) If you are already skilled at something and it requires investment, find a partner to produce mutual benefits.
    3) Create a website/blog and design all your services, skills and experiences.
    4) Make sure you have good online presence. Keep yourself active on some or other online streams. Remember, you will first have to give more than you take.

Hope these suggestions will furnish your ideas!

I agree with these above and would expand on them:

Keep on the alert for potential affiliate programs and JVs you can do with others in your niches. Too many people want to publish something and run to the next project. Instead, work your projects long-term. Team up and craft reports and ebooks in your niches and post your links in them, set up service bundles and affiliate programs, do JVs, etc.

    Hi Doryz,

Well, if you consider yourself a veteran, then that obviously equates to experience.

    Experience equals knowledge.

You're right, building a list isn't going to happen overnight, but with the amount of knowledge you must have, you already have a huge amount of solutions to many peoples' problems.

Look at your expertise - there's your niche.

    Hope that helps.

    In regards to my questions.
I know a few topics really well but cannot find ClickBanks products for them...
Isn't that a bad sign about choosing that particular topic?

    What do you guys think?

Might try searching Google for those topics and see what type ads come up not only via Adsense but ads on the niche links on the first page or so of listings for your Google searches. Could spring-board some related ideas....

Not necessarily a bad sign, you need to research those topics by going to online forums, and looking for offline interest in those niches. It may be a hot niche that nobody has bothered to create a product for, or it could be a bad one.

You've got to do your homework to find out. If there is potential then consider creating your own Clickbank product and promoting it.

Meanwhile, Get some experience writing reviews and building sites for existing Clickbank or Amazon products that you think have potential. You need to gain experience in building SEO sites and writing good copy that attracts sales.

          2 Suggestions/Answers:

#1. You can get a product or bundle of products to sell at PLR and Resell Rights Sites like www.resellrightz.com or google your niche plus the words "PLR", "Resell rights" or "Master Resell Rights".

#2. Create a group for your niche on Facebook then search the FB site for keywords related to the niche. Invite people to join your group, after they join you can mass email your group members with tips resources and offers. You can also send them to your optin forms for your "ethical bribe" aka report.

Fastest way to get online making $$. Once you have your list, build a relationship by only sending out offers every 3rd email. So 2 resouce/tip emails, then an offer disguised as a tip.

Plenty of free content out there to use in relationship building.

BTW: I put a free course together on my website that goes into detail (VIDEO) on buying a domain with "buit-in"traffic, getting your site set up without hiring a programmer, outsourcing product creation, email marketing and launching your product. It's a 5 day free course that I think will help you get to your goal.

Go to the bottom of the page for the signup. You can read more about me so you know that I know what I'm talking about on the page as well. Here's the link:

I know you can get there, just focus and beware of the Guru's "Shiny new thing" emails that will suck you into the hampster wheel.

When you say you want to "start full Internet marketing" you need to decide exactly what it is you are going to do, I realise that is sort of the question you are asking but it's really you that will have to make the choice in the end.

4-5K within 2-3 months is a tough target for most people but as you say you have experience and make a full time living with PPC then you must know that is still the fastest way to get lots of traffic.

Basically if you're not going to pay for traffic it's bound to take longer to build up traffic from various other sources or to build a reputation if that is required in the niche you decide to go for.

Perhaps you could think about targeting expensive products with good commissions and driving the traffic using your PPC experience, just make sure the products are something that people actually purchase Online.

Since you say you're a veteran, have been selling Technology for many years, can build website and good at PPC then why not create your own software product or promote a software product you know will be valuable and get easy commissions as an affiliate.

But looking at your situation and the income goal you've set up for yourself to achieve in a short period of time, I highly recommend diving into affiliate marketing.

The reason is simply because you can make a suplementary or even a main income from affiliate marketing without having your own website, your own product, your own list, etc. All by just working on it part-time.

You see, affiliate marketing is basically you promoting a merchants website and they give you commission on the sales you generate or the click throughs you send.

There are a number of methods that you can use to make money from affiliate marketing both on and offline.

Some methods include using your own website, a merchant's website if you don't have one, mailing lists you have built up, CPA offers to those who opt-in to your list, ebooks, special reports, blogs, video blogs, forums, PPC advertising, local media advertising, and custom software.

And so, I suggest you try out affiliate marketing, because it can be highly lucrative for you in a very short period of time (possibly getting you to your 5 month income goal), you won't have to create your own product, and can be quite fun as well.

    Hope this helps.

    Again Thanks all!

I know SEO takes time and is a long term plan rather than quick get me traffic solutions. This is why I do have a PPC budget to spend but I'd like to get ROI..

    The main question still stands:

    - Get traffic to CPA offers (easier to convert)
    - Get Traffic to ClickBank like products (harder to convert)
    - Get Traffic to Niche Site with a mixtuer of the above
    - Get Traffic to Landing page for CPA / ClickBank products
    - Get Traffic to Niche Site Squeeze page, build list and offer products.

    what do you think?

Let me just explain..I know 4K a month within a couple of months or so is aggressive..but I do have a budget, and I do not mind working 12-13 hours a day 6-7 days a week to get this off the ground...

    What do you guys think?

    Which path would you take?
    - Get traffic to CPA offers (easier to convert)
    - Get Traffic to ClickBank like products (harder to convert)
    - Get Traffic to Niche Site with a mixtuer of the above
    - Get Traffic to Landing page for CPA / ClickBank products
    - Get Traffic to Niche Site Squeeze page, build list and offer products.

SEO works if you have patience and set your strategies right from start...PPC also works and you may get the answers quicker...However, it can eat up your wallet fairly quickly if you dont know what you are doing...So play safe..if you have the time, I would encourage you to get to know it more because its free traffic..however, SEO is only one part of the internet marketing puzzle..
