Could I Be Getting Cheated Out Of Commissions?

I monetize through several different methods and have multiple income streams. For starters, I'm an affiliate marketer with Clickbank, Amazon and Commission Junction and am also involved in network marketing. I also sell ad space as well as my own unique service, and have flipped a few domain names in the past. However, something that has come to my attention is the fact that one of my blogs gets alot of traffic/comment including click throughs on a banner I have set up in affiliation with a company through commission junction. Numerous people have reported going to this website through the link on my blog and purchasing items, I've purchased items as well but I don't seem to be getting credited for the commissions for items purchased. The tracking code appears quite visible when you initially click through the banner, but once you surf around the site or click on anything it seems to disappear which has me a bit concerned that either the sales aren't being properly tracked or I am deliberately being cheated out of commissions. Should I be concerned or could it still be getting tracked in spite of not showing up in the address bar?

I always thought that as long as they click on a link that has your affiliate ID at the end of it then anything they do on that site afterwards is locked into your ID, well, until they clear their cookies that is.

As far as I am aware, and I may be righted on this, but they click on your link, your link is then included in the cookie meaning that you sent them there and if they purchase anything then you should be credited.

I wouldnt worry about the address bar reverting back to the normal address, as long as they click through your link then the cookie does its job.

You say you have a banner running for a company through CJ? Cant you see on CJ re the stats? If there is no record of anyone even clicking let alone buying then there is somwthing wrong somewhere.

That was my own, personal, experience of CJ a few years ago and it's why I don't use them.

Have you tried Affiliate Future instead? They always seem to be reliable.
