Informational Products or Physical Products?

Hi warriors, the more I read this forum the more I understand that most of the techniques you use are only to promote informational products like Click-bank products etc...Why people are buying this products? I'm not american and I can tell you that here is France we do not use to buy ebooks, and it is difficult to find good products as you have in english.

Does anyone in this forum has success with physical products? What methods do you use to promote these products, is article marketing works with physical products? Can you build a list if you sell physical products? These are the questions I have in mind because I have to adapt myself with the buyers, I think here in europa (maybe not UK) we are not as develop as american and we have different habits (like everyone). So I'd like to have the word of an internet marketer that have success with physical products to reply to these questions.

    I dont think it matters what products you're promoting when it comes to marketing because then that's down to the marketer. We can use online/offline methods because there will be a market.
    Personally I choose to promote digital products for many reasons such as no stock to hold, it's dateless, and we have rights so we can promote again and again without buying more stock, therefore costs will be much lower.
    I dont think it should make a difference if you are in France or not to make money online because we are now using the internet to reach people worldwide. So if your ebooks are/n't in English you can still reach your target audience by using marketing facilities online.

      But you can promote physical products as an affiliate so you dont have to wrry about the stock etc...You only sell digital products and you succeed with that, ok, but as I said in france there is not places like clickbank and if I want to promote clikbank products I must speak english good, because I dont know which methods you use, but if you write reviews or articles etc you need to speak english, have you ever pomoted physical products as an affiliate onlineand have you been successful? That is what I want

      Is Amazon operating in your country? If they are then you could consider promoting their products as an affiliate.

      You can also promote Amazon.com here in the US even if you live in France. I recommend you try that first since there is much more volume here in the states. As mentioned above CJ.com is great as well. You can also look at places like linkshare and the Google affiliate network to find physical products to promote.

        Yes, Amazon France exists. But I really wonder how much success you can get by promoting products for Amazon or a similar giant. Nearly everybody knows them so?..

        If I'm looking for a TV set for example I will go to the sites where I know I can find the best prices and/or use the price comparison sites. I will buy where I'll get the best price.
        If I'm looking for a specific model and find your site where you review it, even if you give me your affiliate link for Amazon or whatever, I will still compare with other sites.

        I'm really not the only one doing that, that's why I wonder the type of success you can expect while promoting physical products from one of those giants.

    Hello,

    In France, there is Clickbank. But it doesn't have any success. But there are other platforms similar where you can find lots of ebooks. The quality of the ebooks, that's another story, but at least there are many ebooks available.
    What you're saying make me think you didn't buy many french ebooks. If I'm wrong and you just think the quality is not at the "rendez-vous" like we say in french then you have an opportunity to make money. You can create your own ebooks and sell them on these platforms.

    I agree that Internet marketing in France is not as developped as it is in USA and english speaking countries. There are far less "famous" marketers and the way to do business is not exactly the same.

    I'm not a specialist for the sale of physical products but I'm sure article marketing would work fine too. Like ads on Internet would also work. And of course you can still build a list even if you're selling physical products. This is called "VPC" in french and think to all the big companies selling through their catalogues since so many years, they have our names on their list if you ever oredered them something.

    If you really want you could still create a report to offer to your prospects and print it and send it by post. Maybe there is an opportunity to use an english PLR report/ebook, translate it and use it for the french market.

      Hi there,

      Your location doesn't matter, that's the beauty of Internet marketing. You can be based anywhere in the World, and if you have an Internet connection, then you have the potential for business. You can market digital products such as Clickbank etc, or physical ones - such as from Amazon. The World is your market, if your own country isn't

      I was planning to create some websites like we see in the forum this days, about a dozen to start but optimize them as much as I can, I planned selling physical products, in french, because what ever you say, it's difficult to sell in english when you're not english. Well, it's just a matter of motivation, thank you for your reply.

      nb : about amazon, I don't think it would be profitable to sell their products because the payment are low (around 5%), so I'm not sure if it worth the investment. There is several affiliate companies in france which I could work with, and why not, one day, become the most successful french internet marketer !!

        I didn't mean it was easy to sell english products when you're not, I wanted to say you can sell french products (ebooks) in France, thanks to the french sites similar to Clickbank.

    Amazon seems to be very HOT right now. I am just starting to promote physical amazon products myself. There are some good guides on the market that teach you how to make money from Amazon. Many of those guides can be found right here on the WF forum. There are some very successful amazon sellers here. Just do a forum search and see what you discover.

    I love promoting information products because I make a lot more per sale.

    However, when I promote physical products I make more sales.

    It's a lot easier selling to someone who is looking to buy a "Justin Bieber" shirt than it is trying to sell someone a weight loss product.

    This is the reason why the buy "" keywords are so powerful. Because they might not get a lot of searches, but 1/3 of the people going typing that into the search engine are going to buy.

    This is why you need to diversify and do both of them.

    For me, it shouldn't really matter whether you are selling digital or physical products. Internet marketing is simply the art of marketing products on the internet. If you market the product(s) correctly and to the correct market, you should be able to sell pretty much anything.
