Whats wrong with this domain?

I just booked the domain harrypatch.com.

When i enter it into the browser i am taken directly to yahoo or msn search engine?

Why is this?

    I don't get that. Your browser or DNS server probably forwards you to one of those sites if you enter a website that is offline.

    Got the domain from go daddy just contacted them.

      Not my first domain.

      Go daddy informed me that it may take upto 48 hours?

      Go daddy informed me that it may take upto 48 hours?
      If this is not your first domain - you should know it takes 24-48 hours (sometimes more or less) after you change the DNS for the domain to propagate. I assume you did change the DNS to point to your hosting account, right?

      This is standard - there's nothing to check on or worry about.
