Facebook and Affiliate Marketing

Who is using Facebook to drive traffic to affiliate offers and how successful are you.

I have heard people are making couple of thousand dollars a week from this method.

Can any Warriors enlighten me. Thanks

    I do tons of Facebook Marketing. My most successful affiliate marketing with FB ads involves a landing and lead capture page. Sending FB traffic directly to a affiliate offer IN NOT the most effective way to go. If you can, always capture a email address, then work on building the relationship.

    FB ads is a little different then other PPC, as the FB users are not activley doing keyword searches for what you may have to offer. Rather, they are served ads based on the demographics in their profile. This certainly does have it's advantages for the avid marketer.

    Spotting the latest trends is the media and consumer world is the way to earn good income with FB. Also, think very carefully about your target audience. What are there interests and demographics.

    The last thing I will mention in this brief overview is: Test, Test, Track and Test again. Keep writing new ads and use new images to see what works best.

    ok i think you are talking about paid traffic from facebook. Im interested in learning how to get free traffic from building fan base and then targetting those groups of people with pm messages with affiliate links.

    I want to know who has tried this and what success they had.

    I have done this as well. It take a little longer to set up. The key is to find a 'viral' theme. Something like "I need a vacation'. It has to be something people easily identify with.

    You want to build your fan base BEFORE starting to place any kind of marketing material on you fanpage site. Down the road you can also place a email submit on your fanpage and offer some kind of information/video on your topic.

    If you snoop around FB Fanpagees for awhile, you will start to see people who are doing just this.

    Yes very helpful and thanks. I have a new weight loss blog and want to send facebook free traffic to my site.

    Do i search for people in my niche and send them friend requests? Is this the way to build a fan base?

      Weight Loss is always a heated, emotional market. I suggest starting a fan page that has a twist on wight loss. Find something that plays on the emotions people feel when trying to loose weight, or when they give up etccc.

      Such as:

      I tried another darn (replace that with word of choice) weight loose program that didn't work...


      Once you have your fanpage in place, surf around to other fan pages in your niche and post on their walls about yoru fanpage. Be sure it's not a pitch post, rather a informative one about your fan page. Be sure to link to your fan page.

      The more viral in nature you can make the fanpage, the fast it will spread.

    Serious Computer Programmers need to reply? :confused: How did FaceBook get 500 million members in 6 years while everyone in this forum is struggling to make dollars? I saw 60 minutes the other day where Zuckerman was interviewed. It showed his operation where he had computer engineers whom appeared to be hackers to me from Palto Alto California working on the FaceBook site. Do these guys know special secrets on how to drive web traffic to sites that the rest of us in this Forum have not discovered as of yet? I suspect this to be the case. Does anyone have information on Palto Alto computer engineer hacking methods to drive traffic?

    Facebook is probably the best means of promoting affiliate offers, since it is both viral, and highly targeted traffic that you can aim your offers at. To top it off, it now has more traffic than Google, and what's more the people that use Facebook spend on average almost an hour a day on the site. Now that is one seriously good marketing opportunity.
