Question on article righting and back linking

This may have been answered before but could not find it.

When you right articles for say a dropshipping buisness do your back links go back to your home page or another page.

Also when leaving your links in forums blogs etc. does it have to be http://www. etc or can you just put ie mywebsiterocks dot com.

And lastly lol

Do i actualey have to put mywebsiterocks dot come or could i mask it as please click here sort of thing.

Thanks all.

Not to be a smart*** but spelling is of utmost importance if you are 'righting' (writing) articles.

To answer your questions - I like listing my URL without the www.

And indeed you can 'cloak' your URL with anchor text. Using something like Work At Home is a better choice than click here.

Lol, I was going to make a comment about the righting spelling too

I don't think it matters if you include the www or not as long as you do the same thing each time. So decide whether to have www or not to have it and then stick to that. Personally, I don't include it - it's just easier.

Yes always hyperlink your backlinks with your keywords if you can. It isn't always possible but whenever you can do that then do it.

You can backlink to any page within your website, it depends on what page you are trying to rank for. If you are trying to get your home page ranked highly then link to your homepage. You can then link to other pages that target other keywords and get them to rank high too.

I could have been the first responder here, but I walked away thinking someone might call me mean.

But I also had faith that others would see and correct.

To be honest, I agree with all the above.

They go wherever you want them to go. If your site has a landing page, you'll presumably want most of them to go to that page? But it can help your SEO to give some inner pages some backlinks, too.

Choose one and stick to it. (You don't need the "www" bit, but if you use it, use it consistently).

Again, it's up to you. There's actually something to be said for using keywords as anchor text in a clickable link to your site (SEO benefits there, too), but spelling out the yoursite.com bit separately as well. There's nothing to be said for using the words "click here" as anchor text, though.

I would advise having an editor review your stuff before publication.

You can get editors fairly inexpensively in many places.

For example, while "righting" is wrong, if you said "you are going to right articles", the spell check software would miss that.

In my example, the wrong word is used to describe what you are saying, but the spell check only sees two words and they are both spelled correctly.

However, if the same spelling was used to say, "I have found the right articles for the job," then your usage would be correct.

Don't trust machines to do what a human should do for you.

Your backlinks can point to any page you choose. I believe it would be best to point it to a page which offers supplementary unique information and benefits. By "supplementary", this means additional supporting information or benefits. By "unique", this means information or benefits not found or not provided by the page with your backlink/s. You can place any of your backlinks as URLs or using any keyword anchor you choose. I however recommend you to weigh relevant factors then decide which option would push more readers to go to your linked pages and also which option would give you the best SEO benefits before choosing which step to take.

In my several months in backlinking, there are some sites accepts links, yes you maybe true, it's either through anchor texts or simply put your site on your postings. But some sites really don't accept any links while you post to them. There are really a lot of ways actually but honestly you can learn that as you go on with this business.
