Yet another depressed newbie...

Hey guys,
Ive done alot of research on IM and spend a fair bit of money (student loan) on products that promise this and that, but have had zero success. I know its stupid to buy those things but damn, some peaple can write an amazing sales pitch . Im not looking for a get rich quick method or to make 100,000k a year. All im looking for is a clear, simple and reliable method to bring in a few £ every week. Has anyone got any ideas?
Thanks in advance guys, Paddy

How many of those products did you actually take action on? Chances are that you may already have your answer in your hands. You just need to focus and stick with it.

Hey Paddy, I know how you feel, I have been there.

There is a ton of information here on the forum but I know it is still difficult to decide exactly what direction to go in.

My main advice to you would be to choose one product that has step-by-step instructions and follow it 100%. Stay away from forums and sales pages and focus all your time and efforts on this one thing.

It may be a product that you already have - you may have one that works a treat if you stay focused with it.

    Focus - Determination - Persistence.

Go for a walk - clear your head - life your spirits and come back with a positive attitude to succeed!

First of all stop buying methods and tricks and start applying the basics of promotion of what works.

Find something you like, movies, games, fishing, and start writing about it, submit those articles, make YouTube videos, do yahoo answers.

Basic SEO and Traffic Generation are simple but boring, thats why people don't want to do them, most of the time IM is not a fun job, but allows your freedom to do what is fun. Although watching stats on my p202 is not boring at all

    paddyhack,

    It's RARE that I make a recommendation...but,

in the WAR room, there is a post by David Bynon called the Warrior Pack.

I don't know David, have no affiliation whatsoever...but, this is one of the best works for a newbie or a frustrated person that I've seen in many years. How many years?

Since 1986 when I started selling computer parts and pieces online.

Since 1994 when I was a part of one of the first online forums.

This Warrior Pack, is simply ONE very fine piece of work. And David (bless his heart) is giving it away for free.

It has now become my NUMBER one recommended newbie read, even before my own, BEFORE YOU BUY ANYTHING (also for free in Warroom).

Spend a couple of hours reading and digesting the Warrior Pack BEFORE you get too far into whatever it is you are going to do.

He gives as much detailed information on HOW TO do it, with three very doable and realistic ways, that it is a MUST read.

I probably should qualify who I am to make such a suggestion...but, NAH, I won't waste your time. It doesn't matter who I am to suggest this...there are scores of testimonials and THANKS about this project as any I've ever seen on the WF.

So, if you are SERIOUS about your IM future, it is in MY Opinion, that you not waste another moment and get your hands on the Warrior Pack by David Bynon and it's FREE in the War room.

Well, its tough to make money online, you have to do your research and know your market, the most important thing to know is that it will take hard work. Look at what the companies online are doing and are successful at and try to branch off from there. Good luck.

Paddy, I truly sympathize with your plight. However, you should not have spent money you didn't actually possess (i.e. your student loans) on IM courses that typically promise the world - newbies typically get drawn in by the promise of instant and quick riches without doing much more than lifting a finger.

I'd echo the opinion of the earlier poster who mentioned the Warrior Pack, which is available to War Room members. Becoming a War Room member is probably one of the best investments you could ever make at $37 for 20 years. You'll be able to access thousands of reports that have otherwise been sold here as WSOs (Warrior Special Offers) here, and you also get other privileges which I'll let you read about.

Settle down, take the time to research the various IM methods in here and ask questions if needed. When you've researched the various methods and have found one that you want to do, really focus and give yourself some time (at least several weeks) to implement it until you see results. It sounds like you were jumping from one IM course to the other, and you need to kick that destructive and unproductive habit - the best thing you could possibly do now is to just focus on one method at a time until you see results.

This is excellent advice. The only thing I would add is to TEST on a small scale. Once you find something you enjoy doing, and you get sales, scale it up. Two important keys: Test, and get a small success and repeat it.

This is the essence of internet marketing, distilled into a sentence or two. Really, it's nothing more than focusing on one method/system like your life depended on it, and then testing and tweaking the heck out of it until you see good results and income. Once you've reached that stage, then rinse, repeat and scale it up as much as you want (or dare).

I can't vouch for any of the paid ebooks/courses/"war room", but I'm having my first mild success already just by following the free advice given in this very forum. There are tons of threads here that tell you about different methods. Just pick something and do it... it's not that hard. If you have to ask a question like "how do I make money?" then you really need to read a few threads here. I honestly wouldn't spend another cent on any info products.

It is getting harder and harder every day! The most important thing is to find something and stick to it and work it!. Dont keep changing your niche every time you hit a road block. <--- personal experience

Yes it's hard work with many failures along the way, but you have to stick to something and run with it. But the key to it is you have to find something you like and have some passion for it otherwise it just becomes work again. You have to have that fire in the belly and want to do whatever you can to be successful. Also success is not just determined by money alone. It may be in helping others out or teaching or whatever, but you have to find out what that is. Not to push the War Room, but it does have a bunch of great info in there if you can swing it and might help you out instead of buying a bunch of stuff. Look around first as there is a wealth of info out there.

IM can really be overwhelming. I experienced the information overload and financial roller coaster too, so I understand where you are coming from. The key really is to focus on one thing at a time and block out the "noise". And if you are on all the "guru" lists, unsubscribe asap. Most of then just send you one sales pitch after the other without helping you in any beneficial way.

There is a ton of advice on this forum that is so helpful, but there is a lot of conflicting and diverse advice here too, so even this forum can be overwhelming if you are not careful.

Find one thing that appeals to you, focus on it and master it.
