Hi Warriors, I've been traveling too much to spend much time at the forum lately and I've just been catching up and one thing caught my eye - comments such as "you're an expert compared to 99% of people - so you have valuable services to offer". I know that many people will disagree with what I'm about to say - but hey, it's a free world and I'm not selling anything so I don't care. Here's the short version: Just because you read a few ebooks and can use a lot of IM terminology - that doesn't mean you're an Internet Marketing expert. I'm sorry to disappoint people who think differently but that's just BS. If you read a bunch of books on heart surgery - that doesn't mean you're an expert on operating on peoples hearts. Just because lots of other people know less than you, that doesn't mean you're an expert. If you're struggling to make any money doing your own thing and are considering selling your expertise to offline businesses - please think twice. Just because you know what article marketing is, or the basics of PPC - unless you've been able to make money with these things yourself - do you really think you can call yourself an expert and charge other people for your 'services'? Now, if you've learned how to generate traffic and have made money doing it for yourself - fill your boots! It's a really cool skill to have and definitely valuable. Taking action also puts you ahead of 99% of others, but busyness is not the same as business. End of rant.... Andy |
