I spent about 2 hours building a few sites with joomla, $0 on links. It was all completely long tail traffic. My result comes out to about $11 per hour. Not bad for minimal work.

I highly recommend ebay for high traffic product niches. They pay more and faster than amazon. For high-ticket low volume niches choose amazon.

Just sharing some cool results that I thought would be inspiring and valuable.

You can do really well with Ebay Partners, especially with the $25 sign up commission for new members that join Ebay through your link. These add up quite nicely!

      Hi Sheryl,

I'm not sure if they pay that for the Aussie program (I don't think so) but for the majority of their country specific programs, that was fazed out some time ago when they moved over to a pay per click system.

They also scrapped the system of paying a percentage of their profit from a sale, instead crunching all of the sales and ACRUs into an algorithm that gives you an over-riding EPC (earnings per click) plus an individual EPC for all of your individual campaigns, on a daily basis.

Overall, it pays a lot less than it used to. No surprise there then.

Well, Paul, there's no getting anything by you is there? But I'll tell you what was suspicious about this to ME - I know a thing or two about the EPN program (eBay Partner Network) and it is a notoriously unreliable source of income for any number of reasons, including, but not limited to the fact that:

    - it is hard to even get accepted in the program
    - it is VERY easy to get terminated, often for very hazy reasons
    - the rules are not clear
    - the earnings calculations (the ultra-mysterious Quality Click Pricing model, a variety of pay-per-click) can send your earnings plummeting overnight for no apparent reason.

Having said all that, it is very easy to earn from, including for newbies, it pays very well, no, no longer $25 for new signups - that got scammed the heck out of, so they changed the structure - but still much better than Adsense, any day. On a good month (when Google isn't slapping me around) I earn around 150 EUR/month (about $200) just off one autoblog, and if it wasn't such a risky program I would invest more time in it. Now, what the OP was up to, I have no idea

Who says you can't earn money as an eBay affiliate any more? My stats say otherwise

I would love to build out some sites and put a lot more effort into it too, but as you said it is VERY easy to get terminated and apparently you don't have to be doing anything wrong according to what I read on the forums over there so I just keep going steady with the few sites I have.

He has it right folks. I've been apart of the eBay Partner Network for nearly 2 years now and while I've earned great money, you are always under the gun so-to-speak. At any second you can be terminated with no reason and no response to your inquiry, and overnight (literally) you can go from earning great money to nothing.

With just a few sites I earn around $1,200 on a good month, $400 on a bad month. I average around $750 for the past year. At the end of September my EPC went through the floor and I was making pennies a day instead of what I was usually making (many dollars!). This trend lasted about 2 months and I was nervous that I would be getting the axe any day. Just 2 days ago my EPC shot back up to a normal number for me and I'm back to 30, 40, and 50 dollar days.

So, it's an easy way to earn some money but DO NOT put all of your eggs in this basket. This basket is made of fragile tissue paper and can collapse at any second.

So pretty much it's like CPA Lead you can get the boot for no reason what so ever, hmmm such a shame thats the case really because they only miss out on more people making them money, not that they will lose sleep over it lmao they have millions.

Sorry for dumb question, OP said the he built with no links at all.. so how we can find the traffic?

Also I think maybe it's good if this method can integrate in an autoblog that already have an adsense/amazon or maybe clickbank ads

@Paul cool you can detect IP, let me know how you can do it

Are you allowed to send traffic through affiliated ebay links to your own products that you are selling on eBay?

I assume not.. but could be a nice earner.

Nice catch Paul. Another fraudster to look out for.

The ironic thing is, those stats are terrible. Less than a dollar per day for a "selected" time period. Not even the most recent months when the holiday season should have jacked-up the earnings.

I'm guessing it took this person 100 hours of work to generate those pathetic earnings.

Then either he was banned from eBay or the site was banned from Google, so there are no earnings from Nov/Dec to show.

Not having any dough it was time for some pre-launch fraud on the forum.

The ebay programme used to make a lot of people a good earning, particularly for getting people to sign up with top affiliates rumoured to be making a million $ a month (ebays own words), but then they changed things and closed the programme down on many people even those providing several hundred leads per month.

This programme now appears to be a closed shop rewarding only those sites with high traffic.

In general it would not appear to be worth building a site based around getting people to sign up as it is doubtful you will be approved as an affiliate (This may be country specific though)

It is pretty hard to get in ebay's network. It is harder now than ever due to them cracking down on the cookiestuffer's who have cheated millions of dollars out of them.
