Generic Search Pages: The Work of IM?
I'm still new to the internet marketing field, but I had a question I thought might shed some light on what I often see on the net.
If you enter in some random URLs that contain keywords for various topics, you'll often get a very minimal page that might have some Adsense type ads along with some non-related links.
Is this the work of someone who has created some sort of automatically generated blog/webpage? The quality of these pages ranges from atrocious to rather slick looking, but the content is always minimal at best.
Is someone actually profiting from my visiting such sites? Is this considered a good technique?
My first reaction is to think that these sites are junk, at least from the POV of someone who actually wants to find some information.
