Video Sitemaps?

Hello Gents-
I have a Joomla 1.5 site with some Videos. The traffic there is mediocre. I would like to create a video sitemap but according to Google webmaster site it looks like about 20 lines of code per video. Is there a good tool to create them automatically or with less coding?

    I don't know much about this but I would post this on odesk, you could probably hire someone to do it for under 10 bucks or maybe even get free advice. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

      Why do you want a sitemap for all your videos?

      You wont need it, just have a sitemap for your website only.

      There is no need.

      Its like saying you want to have an instruction booklet for each part of your car! Its crazy.

      When you buy a car you get one manual. You dent get a manual for the engine, a manual for the cd player, a manual for the seats, a manual for the boot, a manual for the wipers, a manual for the gps... you get one manual cos thats all you need.

      All google wants is one sitemap. For your one site.

      Titles, tags, descriptions and anchors are what the engines look at when looking at your videos.

        Well to answer your question why, I would say that from what I have read that Google can not read flash. So the bulk of my *interesting* content is the videos and if Google cannot see that content then I am shortchanging myself.
        If I am incorrect in this understanding please let me know as I have a large learning curve ahead.
        Also, Google has a page or two dedicated to creating sitemaps for video, why would they do that unless they wanted such a sitemap?

        Because this can help your SEO IMO.

        Ranking videos becomes much easier.

          I believe in Follow ups. I paid someone on Odesk 20 bucks to create it. He did a great job in 2 days and wrote comments for me so that now I understand how to do all future video sitemap entries.
          Also after 2 days of no url sitemap indexing in the webmaster tool, now they all show up!! (in the tool)
