Best customer support?

So in the world of IM who do you think offers the best support for their products?

    Ha, yeah a lot of people like to think they do, I'm sure.

    I'm just curious because I know one shopping cart has been acting screwy lately and I'm sure that unintended things happen in one's business. So I'm wondering how other people turn customers from angry to your biggest fan. Whether you've been that customer or dealt with that customer.

    Hi Anthony!

    Not sure if you mean product vendors or service-type providers. If you are talking about product vendors my answer would be very, very few. If you mean companies providing a service, as far as I'm concerned aWeber and HostGator are second to none. You get a live person (at HG you get one 24/7 quickly).

    I've used other hosting accounts and there is NOTHING more frustrating than taking days to get someone to help you with a problem. Anyway, they get my vote. --Mike

    For service providers, I agree with the above poster. Aweber and Hostgator have both offered great support to me over the last few years - have never had a problem with either (touch wood).

    As for product vendors, a few that come to mind are:

    - Adrian Ling with his product EasyClickMate Affiliate Management Tool
    - Sam Stephens with both his products Hop Guard and DL Guard
    - Wilson Mattos with his product S3FlowShield - Secure Amazon S3 Video Streaming
    - The whole team at aMember Membership Software

    They are the main ones that stick out to me. These guys keep it very personal and have always been more than happy to help whenever I've had a problem - nothing has ever been too much for them.

    That sort of service deserves a thanks every now and then, and so there it is.
