Just wondering what others are using for WordPress Stats ?

I have been testing out the one from the makers of wordpress but I don't like the fact that I can't host it and you have to signon to another account on their servers to see your stats. It is really nice but I would like more control

Your webhost almost certainly has a stat package of it's own. I checked the wiki on mine and got the code to put in so that it would show up with a wordpress site. Check the help files your host provides and see if you can find it. If not, post again or pm me and I'll look up the instructions again on mine.

I use awstats. It comes with the hosting account I have and gives lots of good details.

There are some wordpress stats plugins. I experimented with one a while back and while it did a good job, it really slowed everything down.

Google Analytics is always a good choice; its easy to use, understand, and it's free. I don't know why anyone would want to use something different unless they were looking for a live stats package...

Use Google Analytics. There are some good plugins for Wordpress that makes it a breeze integrate.
