Making Money Off Of OBAMA Mania

I'm not on the forum on a daily basis, so forgive me if anyone has created a thread anything close to this. I thought I'd share an idea I had for any newbie waiting in the wind ready to post a "I need 1 gazillion dollars by tomorrow" thread!

Now, If I were headed to D.C. in Jan (which I don't think I will be) I would create a blog and blog counting down the days b4 I go on my trip. Once it was time for me to leave, I'd video tape the journey, my arrival and my entire experience, including my trip back!

Now, of course once there I'd interview people and make it as exciting as possible...really try to capture the "feel" of the trip and the "vibe" of the people!

Once home, I'd make it available on dvd (and maybe audio too) and pitch it to my visitors.

Now...even if you don't like the guy, you can still make money off of the event or at worse, break even making it the "free trip of a lifetime".

P.S. I realize this isn't a gazillion dollar overnight money maker, but I have a feeling that one can generate major money off of attending the event to PLENTLY of people that want to go but can't. And PLENTLY of people that "wish" they could have the experience!

P.S.S. I wish I had registered something like "Obamasdog.com" after he announced it to the world that he's getting puppies!
