Question For CB Publishers

Okay my product doesn't make a lot of sales and I have never used my publisher id on the product page or any referral pages so usually sales I make come up as no affiliate (or I thought they were sales I was making), now this is where I get confused today I had a sale that came up with my publisher id being the affiliate (as can be seen on the analytics page).

Would this mean that those no affiliate sales were actually sales that should have been credited to affiliates? Can anyone check their analytics and see what they can judge from theirs. Whether you see sales under your actual publisher id (listed as affiliate) or whether all sales come up as no affiliate.

    Never happened with me.
It always came up as NO AFFILIATE when no affiliate referred the purchase.
Maybe, your sales page was opened as /?hop=yourcbname
    Doesn't make sense though

      Sylvia,

Can you confirm that you are looking at the
      Analytics page for Publisher Reporting
and amongst the affiliates listed are
      - NO AFFILIATE
      - your publisher-id for that account

    Harvey,
Yes it says both, a few are listed as NO AFFILIATE and then one today is listed as my publisher id for that specific account, This is under the left side column where it says Publisher Reporting and report by AFFILIATES. Thats why it confused me, why would there be both. I have never seen my own publisher id listed.

Just to add something, I checked to see if Google Analytics could provide some insight at least on where this sale came from since I have it set as a goal and it came directly from the clickbank site. So it came directly from someone on the Clickbank marketplace.

I was going to say that maybe your product isn't yet in the clickbank "affiliate products" level yet. When I first put my products up, they don't even come up in the marketplace, even though I have them listed as open to affiliates. Maybe you reached that level and now see your publisher name.

Also, if someone buys from YOU, rather than from an affiliate, then your ID will show or 'none'. I've had both. I suppose if they do buy directly from the marketplace then the credit would show you as the seller, therefore your ID.

Just a suggestion... but it looks like Harvey has it in hand.
