Aweber VS. GetResponse - Give Me Your 2 Cents

Hi Everyone,

I've been using Aweber for 4 years now and was recently considering switching to GetResponse.

I am particularly looking for feedback from those whom have used both services.

Which do you prefer and why?

Thanks in advance!

I use GetResponse (have never used Aweber) and have no problem with my service. GetResponse does everything I need it to do -- and are pretty quick with support if needed.

ive used both....getresponse has a better interface..its more web 2.0 but aweber is much better explained...they have video tutorials and step by step articles on everything..

so i went back to aweber and thats who im with now...

although alot of program integrate with getresponse, almost any program that comes out will integrate with aweber.

also getresponse doesnt let you choose the time and day you want to send out your emails.

but getresponse does have built in surveys, but that wont be a problem for most people as aweber has a really in depth video tutorial to explain how to integrate survey with their system...at the end of the day it's all about trying them out.

i was in your shoes asking all of the forums. and it wasn' until after i had tried both that i was able to make a comparison and a conclusion on which one i liked best...and yes it was aweber.

    hope this helps.

    Hi Adam,
It's ben a year or two since I compared the two so my memory is sketchy and I don't know what may have changed since. At the time though, AWeber was my pick because of the automation tie in. Using a bit of custom scripting I was able to automate adding product buyers to lists from Paypal purchases, and move prospects from one list to another based on their actions. Leads to buyers lists for example.

Get Response had little to no automation or customization that I can remember and drove me nuts with frustration when trying to do anything more than the basics. At the time they were gung ho about video mail features if I remember right, and that was something I had zero interest in.

    (fixed errors, typing on Android)

No Offense bro, but that button up there that says "search" actually has its uses. You can type in Aweber VS GetResponse to see just how many times this very same question has been asked and you may be surprised to see some of them are pretty recent.
