Buying Web Businesses

I understand the reasons for buying aged domains for SEO purposes, but have you bought an established online business domain and built it up for a profit?

    I'm about to. Personally, why go through the trouble of making a site, building a product, and setting everything up when it already exists. If it's a good product you just need proper marketing and good copy to bring in the sales.

    I think it's good to start off selling others products, but once you get the hang of it, cut out the middle man.

    You can also sell businesses in a box for $800 or so.

    Yea that's definitely true. I mean, people make better money easier by copying other peoples strategies so why not just buy existing businesses.

    But on the flip side, if you plan to have the business for a long time I think it's more satisfying to start it from the ground up..
