CPA marketing I predict that every man and his dog will be CPA marketing next year. In 2006 it wasnt so well known with affiliates. But by next year even all the newbies will be doing it. It fits with the recession and its been growing in momentum with launches like PPCformula and traffic tactics not to mention Frank Kern telling us in a little video how to mail CPA offers out. I am seeing more and more stuff on CPA. There was the Vegas seminar a week back too. Even Reese mentioned somewhere that he anticipates cost per action to become more predominant. |

Probably time to get out of it then. :-) Seriously. I'm like Warren Buffet...if everyone is putting on their underwear normally I turn mine backwards. On to the untapped... |

Maybe rather than getting out of it you should become an actual "advertiser" rather than an affiliate. It could get better for advertisers as it gets saturated. But then again I guess adwords didnt. |

| Gareth, You could be spotting a trend right now. You may be right on also! I also have been hearing more talk about CPA recently. I think the reason for this is because of the ease it takes to make money and CPA. Most CPA offers are either fill-in zip code, e-mail address, phone number or fill out surveys. Each one pays about $1-$3. That might not seem like a lot of money, but multiply it by thousands and millions and you can see why this type of way of making money is profitable. Jeff |

But you guys gotta think, CPA works two ways, if the businesses that are paying for the leads you get them don't convert into sales, then CPA's will slowly vanish! Not to be negative but it's the truth, if the economy is called "bad" then businesses will cut back on their advertising to save money! IMO |

I've been doing CPA's with article marketing for over a year and doing really well. If you can get traffic you can make money. There are two problems I find with CPA offers, one, a lot of the offers are sleezy (people get roped in to buying stuff they didn't want) and two Google doesn't seem to like them so they are difficult to make work with PPC. (that was my experience anyway) I own PPC Formula (a PPC to CPA training program) we'll see what happens after Gauher releases PPC Formula 2 early next year. Maybe he has some good new tricks up his sleeve. John P |

| Gareth, I will have to agree with John P. on one thing. That is there are lot of CPA offers that are very sleazy. Once they get the e-mails, the participant has to go through rounds and rounds of offers to get one free item. Jeff |

Alex Goad's affiliate payload is all about CPA. It looks like there's quite a bit of money to be made there.
